The [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] I know pronoucned it [name_f]Ree[/name_f]-uh so that would be my assumption, though I have heard of the [name_u]Ray[/name_u]-uh pn

The only [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] I’ve known pronounced it as a one syllable [name_u]Ray[/name_u].

The [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] I know says ray-ah and that’s also my intuitive pronunciation.

I love and prefer the ray-uh (like a “ray” of sunshine) pronunciation. But I also know a child named [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] whose name is pronounced ree-uh. I think both are technically correct, but the ray-uh pronunciation is prettier to me and also avoids any unfortunate references to diarrhea (which is a reference the little girl I know hears a lot, sadly).

I very much prefer [name_u]Ray[/name_u]-uh, so that’s how I say it.

I say ray-ah. I’m not from an English speaking though, so the ree-ah pronunciation makes no sense at all to me.

I would say [name_f]Ree[/name_f]-ah, but theres no correct pronunciation. I know some people even just pronounce it [name_u]Ray[/name_u], which I would have thought would be spelt like Rhae. Either way, you will always have to correct people on the pronunciation you like.

I technically switch back and forth between the two, which I know is totally useless for you. I would say I prefer [name_u]Ray[/name_u]-ah though.

I pronounce like the end of diarrhea.

I’ve only ever known one [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] who pronounced it [name_f]Ree[/name_f]-ah, so that’s my go to. I also prefer the [name_f]Ree[/name_f]-ah pronunciation.

[name_f]Ree[/name_f]-ah is what I instinctively go for but I like both ree-ah and ray-ah for [name_f]Rhea[/name_f].

I’ve only ever heard [name_u]RAY[/name_u]-uh

I was going to say the exact same thing as @eireann. I’d guess “ree-uh” but I like both.
