I love [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] !
When I first started my name obsession I was sure I was going to have 4 boys [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] , [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] , [name_m]Blade[/name_m] and [name_u]Walker[/name_u] .

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! Itā€™s at the top of my list. I think I might like it as a middle name better.

i love love love rhodes! so scholarly and sophisticated, yet adventurous and sweet. itā€™s also my great grandmaā€™s maiden name, so rhodes has always been on my list ~

this has nothing to do with the topic lol but @hannahwren have you considered oliver rhodes? i know oliver is your fav name and i just came up with that combo for another topic! thought you might like it :slight_smile:

i have actually never considered it! i have been playing with oliver rhys, but since rhodes is a family name i am definitely more drawn to it!!

I like it! It reminds me of the more-popular (but not overly so!) [name_u]Rhett[/name_u] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], which are names that I love, and I think it could very much work in that same vein.

[name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] is my favorite boy name! I love how it can work on a little boy, as well as on an adult.

Completely agree with this. Rhodes is one of those names that can straddle a lot of boundaries and vibes for me. I think itā€™s fantastic and have it on my own list.

The name feels dreamy and whimsical with a cool outdoorsy flair. Itā€™s a great subtle nature name with a fabulous meaning ā€˜where roses growā€™ honestly how romantic

I think itā€™s nice, but I donā€™t love it. It just makes me think of the word ā€œroadsā€ like what you would drive on. I donā€™t love names that end in S because it makes the possessive tense sound strange in my opinion. I want to love it because of itā€™s meaning. This name would theoretically work great on our name list, But Iā€™m not fully behind it yet.

i wasnā€™t sure how i felt about it when i first heard it, but since then iā€™ve come to really love it! itā€™s playful and gentle at the same time, and i love the look of the rh- beginning :relaxed:
