Rhonda

What are your thoughts on Rhonda I love it I prefer it over Wanda it also makes me think of country singer Rhonda Vincent and I love country music

definitely prefer rhonda over wanda. kind of has a maternal feel to it-- which isn’t a bad thing, that’s just what came to mind. kind of reminds me of the ufc fighter rhonda rousey too lol

I really like the similar [name_f]Rhoda[/name_f], which sounds gentler and reminds me of rhododendron flowers. I think the “Ron” syllable in [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] makes it feel too dated to me.

[name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] is a bit harsh for me, but it reminds me of Call the Midwife-era names which is kind of fun

I really dislike it. It has a very unappealing sound to me. I’ve heard of [name_f]Rhoda[/name_f] before though, which I find softer on the ears.

I’ve never liked it, though I suppose it’s not horrible, just a bit dated. I think the spelling bothers me more than the sound because the rh kind of makes me think of rhinoceros :rhinoceros:

[name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] is pretty especially with a more simple mn like grace or something like [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], Juliet,Jane to fill it out imo.:hibiscus:

There’s nothing particularly “wrong” with [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f], but it’s not my cup of tea and I find it rather dated. To be honest, I’d expect a [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] to be somebody’s grandma, not somebody’s baby.

rhonda is definitely not my taste, but it’s not a bad name, and is perfectly good for someone else. it sounds too dated for my liking, and i’d prefer something like rhodes over it.

It’s not my taste personally, but I think it’s a nice name!

It’s reminiscent of both Wanda (which you mentioned and I like) and one of my all time favorites, Veronica, which makes it feel accessible to me.

It’s also definitely very vintage, but that doesn’t bother me terribly. Names come and go from fashion, a lot of today’s popular names will be vintage in a generation.

It sounds like a winner if you’re looking for something really unusual! I agree that it sounds “dated,” but if most people think that, your daughter will literally be one in a million.

I like [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f]. I’ve never heard of [name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], but I can see how the name fits a country singer; it’s a bit country sounding. I do think of [name_f]Ronda[/name_f] Rousey, but that’s good to me.

[name_f]Rhonda[/name_f] is not my style, I do find it a bit harsh, but it’s not bad. I prefer [name_f]Rhoda[/name_f] or [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u].
