[name_m]Both[/name_m] are strong, handsome combos. I chose [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] only because I feel the flow works just a bit better. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] jumbles up a bit and gets a little tongue twisty for me. My tongue does not get as tied up with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m].
Thanks lovemysweeties! It does seem a bit tongue twisty to me too. I’m not sure about ‘[name_m]Ry[/name_m]’ and ‘Rhy’ back to back because it’s the same sound.
Could the rest of you guys who voted tell me why you chose which combo please? It’d help a lot.
You are welcome.
I did not even notice that when I suggested it. lol
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. [name_m]King[/name_m] is way too over the top, even as a middle name.
I voted for [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] because it goes better with [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is perfect.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]King[/name_m] is a surname to me, so I would think the he either had two surnames ([name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m]-…) or that this is his full name.
If [name_m]King[/name_m] were the last name, [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] sounds great. But for a second middle I prefer [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
[name_m]King[/name_m] was my step-grandmothers surname.
Could the ones who voted, but didn’t comment tell me why you chose which combination please?
I’m still a bit stuck between the two.
If it were a FN, I would say [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. I even really, really like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. I think it just flows off the tongue, and doesn’t seem as stilted as [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] does. It just sort of stops at [name_m]King[/name_m]–I think it’d be much easier to say [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], for example, than it would be to say [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m]. But [name_m]King[/name_m] is pretty awesome as a second middle. It brings to mind all things Narnian, which I love. High [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and adventures and [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and battling evil. But [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is so studious and sweet; I would love to meet a little [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]! And since they both honor family, I think that gets my vote. It’s just so adorable.
I’m a sucker for “title names” anyway, but I think [name_m]King[/name_m] is so much more unique than [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] and definitely usable in the middle spot. I voted for [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m]. Adorable and yet so strong!
Thanks everyone! I think I’m going to save [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] for another combination. I don’t like [name_m]King[/name_m] with this combination anymore, but I’m not feeling [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] for it either.
I’m sad, because I really like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m]. I don’t like [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] much (I’m always thinking “rice” instead of “reese”).
I’m not a fan of [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] but…
If you were to have two sons, I think it might be…nicer (not sure if that’s even the word I wanna use) to honor each of them rather than just one.
Other than that though, I think [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] sounds best.
You should keep [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m]. It is a very handsome, strong name. Sure using [name_m]King[/name_m] as a first name is too much. This is [name_m]King[/name_m] as a middle name, as a second middle name. [name_m]King[/name_m] honors your step-grandma. I think it is a wonderful name.
I do like [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m] as a whole, but I have [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] which honors my step-grandmother also. I rather honor each grandmother than just one.
