No, but I know a lot of gross [name_m]Ricks[/name_m].
Yeah actually. It is a little dated especially the nicknames [name_m]Rick[/name_m] & [name_m]Dick[/name_m] I’d avoid those at all cost.
However a little [name_m]Richard[/name_m] nn [name_m]Ritchie[/name_m], [name_m]Ritch[/name_m], [name_m]Hitch[/name_m] or [name_m]Chad[/name_m] I think would fit right in with the modern ‘clunky cool’ crowd.
It’s a little dated - maybe as a middle.
I love [name_m]Richard[/name_m], and I think it’s pretty revivable.
Personally I much prefer [name_m]Rich[/name_m] or even [name_m]Richie[/name_m] to [name_m]Rick[/name_m]/[name_u]Ricky[/name_u]. Fun way to mix it up a bit and make it more casual.
Never liked the name [name_m]Richard[/name_m], because of the potential [name_m]Dick[/name_m] as a nn.
I feel like [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is a little dated. However, I love the nn [name_m]Richie[/name_m]!
I don’t think the nickname [name_m]Dick[/name_m] is super obvious to kids today.
I also agree that [name_m]Richard[/name_m] feels a little dated, but I think it’s totally usable in the middle spot. I prefer the long form of [name_m]Richmond[/name_m].
I don’t dislike like it but it does seem pretty dated to me.
I really like it - and think of it as a guilty pleasure because other people have told me it’s too dated to be usable. I like it anyway.
Yes! I know a few but the youngest one I know is actually about 4 now. He wears it well and it is sooooooo refreshing to hear!! I’m not a fan of nicknames for [name_m]Richard[/name_m] but there are at least several possibilities.
