What is everyone’s thoughts on [name]Riley[/name] for a little boy. We have a very irish last name and our orginal name [name]Owen[/name] is totally out the window!
Thoughts on [name]Riley[/name]… used too often for a girl now??? Let me know, thanks!!!
PS… middle name will prob be [name]Michael[/name] (for my dad)
niece: [name]Riley[/name] age 10
BFF’s daughter: [name]Riley[/name] age 8
neighbor’s daugher: [name]Riley[/name] age 3
neighbor’s son: [name]Riley[/name] age 3.5
I like [name]Riley[/name] for a boy myself, and although it is now more popular for girls (in the U.S.) I still think that it is a great name for a boy!
I know lots of girls named [name]Riley[/name], but can’t think of any boys right now, although I have generally heard of it as a boy’s name. I think its too bad that its grown so popular for girls as it makes a nice boy’s name too. I also really like it spelled [name]Reilly[/name] - a friend of mine did this based on an Irish surname in their family.
I know one of each gender, both in their 20’s. I personally prefer it on a boy and its actually on our short list for future boys and is one of my hubby’s favs.
I also see it on girls more often than boys. I love [name]Michael[/name] as a first name even though it’s popular and [name]Michael[/name] [name]Riley[/name] sounds nice.
