[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! We are Italian and picking a name for our baby. So many names have already been used in our big family, so we’re looking for something unique and uncommon. We love the name [name_u]Rocco[/name_u] (and it matches our R letter last name well, so initials R.R)
How do you feel about the name [name_u]Rocco[/name_u]?
I love [name_u]Rocco[/name_u]. We’re not Italian but I have it on my list for baby due in [name_f]April[/name_f].
I’m not religious but I do like that [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_u]Rocco[/name_u], the origin of this name, was famous for treating victims of the plague. Seems fitting for a baby being born right now. When he got the plague himself, he retreated to solitude in the forest, where dogs brought him food and that’s how he survived. I love the whole story.
Rocco doesn’t appeal to me personally, but I think it’s a fine name.
In Europe there is a well-known male porn star named [name_u]Rocco[/name_u]. I don’t think that makes it unusable, but it’s something to be aware of for when your child is old enough to Google his name.
