Roland, Roman, Ronan, or Roan?

Which is your favorite?

Which would go best with [name]Harvey[/name]?

More info about the names:
[name]Roland[/name]- ([name]RO[/name]-lund) “Famous Country”
[name]Roman[/name]- ([name]RO[/name]-man) “[name]Roman[/name]”
[name]Ronan[/name]- ([name]RO[/name]-nin) “[name]Little[/name] seal”
[name]Roan[/name]- ([name]RO[/name]-an) “[name]Little[/name] red one/ [name]Rowan[/name] tree”

**Worried about [name]Ronan[/name] being pronounced as [name]Ron[/name]-an (more like [name]Ronald[/name]) and [name]Roan[/name] as rone.
What do you think?

I would pronounce [name]Roland[/name] [name]ROLL[/name]-und before ROW-lund,
AND before pronouncing [name]Ronan[/name] as RAH-nan (like [name]Ronald[/name]). I can’t imagine someone making that mistake. [name]Ronan[/name] is too close to [name]Conan[/name] to mess up, in my opinion.

I would pn [name]Roan[/name] as RONE, like Bone, mostly because [name]Rowan[/name] is a name in its own right. If you want ROW-uhn, why not [name]Rowan[/name]?

[name]Rowan[/name] is my favorite, spelled that way. [name]Roan[/name] [name]WILL[/name] be pronounced Rone.
[name]Rowan[/name] helps offset the somewhat vintage appeal of [name]Harvey[/name] with its fresher self.

I’m from the US, if it makes a difference.

If [name]Roan[/name] would have been [name]Rowan[/name], that would have been my absolutely favorite. [name]Harvey[/name] & [name]Rowan[/name] are really cute together. My second favorite would be [name]Roman[/name].

I don’t think you’ll have any problems with the pronunciation of [name]Ronan[/name] but I always thought [name]Roan[/name] was Rone too.

[name]Ronan[/name] is my favorite from your list

I voted for [name]Roman[/name] in your poll, but now that I see it’s with [name]Harvey[/name], I have to vote for [name]Roland[/name].
[name]Roan[/name] will almost definitely be pronounced Rone, like the colour.

I love [name]Roman[/name] and [name]Ronan[/name]!
