Rordan - Opinions?

Found this name as an older version of [name]Riordan[/name]. I love the meaning of [name]Riordan[/name] - poet king - but the pronunciation ‘reer-dan’ is a bit off-putting. This looks easier for my family to spell. But I’m not sure on the pronunciation, any Irish Gaelic speakers out there, is it like [name]Rory[/name]?

I want to like it, based on the background you’ve given, but all I hear/see is [name]Jordan[/name] with an R.
