I pronounce it similar to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. row-sa-lee-uh.
I’d pronounce it row-ZAH-lee-a
Either rose-ah-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-ah or rose-ALE-ee-ah
It just depends on how you process the name. If you process [[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]] as separate from [[name_f]Lia[/name_f]] - if your brain recognizes the “[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]” part first - then you’ll pronounce it rose - uh - [name_u]LEE[/name_u] - uh. If you’re processing the name based on each syllable, meaning [[name_f]Ros[/name_f]][al][i][a], then you’ll likely pronounce it [name_f]Ros[/name_f] - [name_m]AL[/name_m] - i - a because similar names with similar syllable patterns (ie. [name_f]Natalia[/name_f], [name_f]Amalia[/name_f]) are pronounced with an emphasis on the second syllable. I’d assume that more people would just separate out the “[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]” and “[name_f]Lia[/name_f],” and pronounce the name based on that - that’s how we pronounce other names that are an amalgamation of two names, ie. [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], which is pronounced the same as “[name_f]Lili[/name_f]” and “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]” combined; same with [name_f]Annabella[/name_f], etc.
Also, if you are a Spanish speaker, you’re by far more likely to pronounce it rose - uh - [name_u]LEE[/name_u] -uh. In Spanish, the name would likely be spelled Rosalía, the accent indicating that the [lí] portion would be emphasized. So, overall, I’m fairly sure rose - uh - [name_u]LEE[/name_u] - uh is the correct pronunciation and the most common one.
I would pronounce it with four syllables, something like ro-ZAH-lee-uh.
