Im not a huge fan of [name]Rose[/name] names but I’m really liking Roselaine and Rosemaine right now, I think they would work great on a little girl or grown women!
[name]Rosalie[/name] is totally fine for an adult. I think it sounds more adult than babyish actually.
I think [name]Rosalie[/name] is fine for an adult! I recently realized there’s a [name]Rosalie[/name] that goes to my church, lol. She has always gone by [name]Sally[/name] (she’s about my mom’s age), so I never really noticed. I think [name]Rosalie[/name] ages effortlessly.
I’m not a huge [name]Rose[/name]- fan, but I also really like [name]Primrose[/name] and [name]Rosabelle[/name], and I kind of like [name]Rosemary[/name] and [name]Rosamund[/name], too.
Good luck!
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name but worry about being accused of copying Twilight haha same with [name]Esme[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name].
I think it’s a name that ages very well.
I think [name]Rosalie[/name] would be beautiful for an adult. If she does not feel that way when she is older she could always shorten it to [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosa[/name] which are very professional. I think [name]Rosalie[/name] has a lot of pizzazz though that would translate well at an age
I can picture [name]Rosalie[/name] on all ages. I think it ages really well. [name]Rosie[/name] I picture on a baby to tween. [name]Rose[/name] I see on a teen to adult. I would definitely use [name]Rosalie[/name] on the birth certificate and use [name]Rose[/name]/[name]Rosie[/name] as NNs.
Well, since I consider this an “old lady name,” I think it ages very, very well! And I love this name, by the way. I think it would be so sweet on a baby and lovely for an adult. [name]Rosie[/name] is such a great nickname too.
Either [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosalie[/name] would fit well at any age, I think, from a baby all the way to an old lady.
This is exactly what I was thinking - its a lovely name
oh yea! i so appreciate all the positive feedback. i do worry about the twilight connection, but i just can’t let a book/movie series, no matter how popular, influence a name that i love! Maybe this is another a post for another time, but if we stick with rosalie, she will have to have a family middle name. any thoughts on these combos?
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Allison[/name] (Initials would spell RAT. is that bad?)
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Willa[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Violet[/name] (that’s awfully floral, don’t ya think?)
Thanks nameberries!
I think [name]Rosalie[/name] is a timeless classic and would suit people of all ages
I know a [name]Rosalie[/name]. She’s 24 and her sister, [name]Pamela[/name], is 21. [name]Both[/name] are interesting and unusual names for their generation.
My great aunt is named [name]Rosalie[/name] and she’s in her 90’s…
absolutely! Beautiful name!
I know an adult [name]Rosalie[/name] and it seems to work fine. It’s a pretty normal style of name, not like a kid nickname so I don’t feel like it has an age.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is a beautiful name. It is on my list too for a potential girl name. I think [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] sounds the best of the options you listed. If you last name starts with a T, I would suggest to avoid a middle name starting with an A and O. RAT and ROT are not great initials.
I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. Such a sweet underused name.
