Rosalie?

I’m trying to focus on girls names before we find out the gender next month incase it’s boy number four

I keep going back to two names, [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f], but I’ve recently fallen for [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. What do you think? Too frilly sounding?

It’s not too frilly sounding, but I do personally prefer the cleaner, crisper sounds of [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and especially [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. But [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is very pretty, works for any age, and is surprisingly unusual.

I think [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is pretty. It’s lighter and more playful seeming than [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. It’s very sweet, but not too frilly.

I like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], though I prefer it as a nickname to [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but you can’t go wrong with any of these names. Both marina and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] are so cute!

For my personal taste, I do find it too frilly. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is my favourite from your list! Still 3 syllables & even ends in an A, but it feels quite a bit sleeker to me than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] does.

Rosalie is sweet and old-fashioned. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would be adorable!

Rosalie is sweet and feminine without being frilly! [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] are really pretty! And I second [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!

I wouldn’t describe it as frilly, but it does feel softer and lighter/airier when compared to [name_f]Marina[/name_f] & [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!

I love it! Not too frilly at all, and it would sound so sweet with your boys’ names. I think it fits quite well stylistically.

However, I believe I recall one of your sons being called [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]? And, if so, [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] might be a little close. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, though.

I love @cactusgram’s suggestion of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]! Perfection.

It’s too frilly for me but I don’t think it’s over the top.

For me, too frilly sounding. I like [name_f]Marina[/name_f] a lot.

Firstly congratulations on baby #4!!

I honestly love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] I think it’s such a beautiful floral choice with tons of romance and elegance behind it. It’s a favourite of mine so therefore of course I love all her variants including [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is beautiful such a sweet delicate name that is definitely not too frilly (but then again I love frilly) it’s just a stunning name. I do love [name_f]Olive[/name_f] & [name_f]Marina[/name_f] but for me [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] comes out on top

Rosalie is beautiful! I can see the frillyness, but it’s such a fresh, modern-sounding yet vintage name, I think it’s definitely usable anywhere :slightly_smiling_face:

However, [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] are lovely options as well! Ultimately it depends on your view, also in combination with the sibling’s names. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s pretty, but not too frilly. Has a name romantic sound. I prefer the simplicity of [name_f]Olive[/name_f], though.
