Rosalind Cosima?

What do you think? I’ve been looking for a good middle name for [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] for a long time, and I think this is my favorite so far. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]? KO-see-mah or CAH-see-mah or something else? I naturally want to say CAH-see-mah but I see nameberry suggests KO-see-mah.

Also, which do you like best? [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] Cosmina?

Thanks

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] Cosmina is really pretty. I like Cosmina, but I prefer [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], because I don’t know if Cosmina is real name.

I’m not sure about [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] with [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] as both have short hard ‘oz’ sounds (like the [name_m]Wizard[/name_m] Of) at the start.

‘[name_f]ROZ[/name_f]-a-lind [name_m]KOZ[/name_m]-ee-ma’

I love both names, the only thing i dont love is they’re both 3 syllables. Still sounds pretty though.

I pronounce Cosima ‘KO-see-mah’, so it’s not the same O sound. There is the repetition of Ros- Cos- visually, though.

I am with @renrose, it is just a tiny but too “[name_m]Oz[/name_m]” for my liking.
I would pronounce [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] like “ko-SEE-muh”.

Yeah, I’ve heard [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] pronounced both [name_m]KOZ[/name_m]-ee-ma and ko-SEE-ma as well. If you’re saying it the first way, I agree that it sounds awkward with [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. If the second, it sounds fine but would be even better flipped around ([name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].)

And no matter which way you’re saying it, I like it much better than Cosmina.
