I think it could work. If you’re not bothered by pronounciation issues, then [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is such a sweet name to use. I love [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] as a nickname too.

Have you considered a different spelling to help out with the pronunciation issues? Maybe…
[name_f]Rosaleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f]
I absolutely love [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] (rhyming with spine) and [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] (rhyming with bin). I don’t like [name_f]Rosaleen[/name_f] too much.
I would spell it differently for that pronunciation. I automatically said [name_f]Rose[/name_f] uh line.
I prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] due to the pronunciation issue. Have you considered [name_u]Rosario[/name_u] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]?
@mom2one2 , my first instinct was to say [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-ah-leen. Although I’m fairly used to the [name_m]French[/name_m] language, so that might be a part of it.
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is such an adorable name! For me personally, I would pronounce it “rose-uh-leen” at first glance. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] would make for a lovely, light nickname. I wouldn’t worry too much about pronunciation. I truly don’t see how this could be pronounced “roz-uh-line”.
