My husband’s favorite name (for baby due in two weeks!) is [name]Rose[/name]. While I love [name]Rose[/name], I have a few reservations, one being that our two year old’s name is [name]Olive[/name]. I personally have never thought of the food when I’ve heard [name]Olive[/name]'s name but I worry that adding another noun name would push it in that direction. Then there is the problem that [name]Olive[/name] may wonder why she got named after a little black appetizer while her sister got named after a beautiful flower. DH thinks I’m crazy to worry about this but we love [name]Olive[/name]'s name and I want her to love it as she gets older, not compare it to the food and roses. What do you think? Am I crazy? Or is he?
I think [name]Rose[/name] is perfect for [name]Olive[/name]. I don’t think of an appetizer when I hear [name]Olive[/name], I think of the beautiful [name]Olive[/name] tree and the symbolism behind it.
