I came across this name on another board and I’m really liking it. I’m surprised that I’ve never heard it before, given the popularity of other [name]Rose[/name] names. Opinions on the name? I’m saying it [name]Rose[/name]-ella.
What do you think about [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] “Cici” and [name]Rosella[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name] “[name]Rosie[/name]” for sisters? Mns are after our grandmas.
I love [name]Cecily[/name] but there’s something about [name]Rosella[/name] that is just not hitting me right. Also I think it’s not the best flow with [name]Liselotte[/name] because of the repeated ‘sel’ but I would overlook that for the family significance. There are so many beautiful [name]Rose[/name] names, I would probably prefer one of the others. I really like [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] and [name]Roseanna[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name].
I actually know a girl named [name]Rosella[/name]. I think the name is OK but I always think of a skin disease every time I see the name in print. Maybe if it were [name]Rose[/name] [name]Ella[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Ellen[/name]???
I think it’s kinda sweet, but I also think you could do better In my opinion, [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name] has a nicer flow to it, but maybe that’s not you cup of tea. [name]How[/name] about [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name], or is it too much ‘li’ in that combo? Or [name]Rosemary[/name]?
[name]Rosemary[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name] (a lot of name and maybe not the best flow, but sweet)
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name] (maybe not the best flow there either, lol, I’m not doing very well here )
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] (I really like this one, but…
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Liselotte[/name] …you would still be stuck with the repeated li- sound. But this looks very pretty)
Oh well. I guess I wasn’t being very helpful here. I still think that [name]Cecily[/name] and [name]Rosalie[/name] would make a nice sibset. I wish you good luck and hope that someone else would come up with a brilliant solution for you
Honestly, it reminds me a lot of roseola… the viral illness children get. It is the first thing I thought of when I heard of, so I just want you to be aware of this possibility.
[name]Rosella[/name] is the name of a type of Australian bird. They are really pretty parrot-like birds. I’ve always thought [name]Rosella[/name] would be a really nice name for a little girl.
I really like it!
I’m not a fan of [name]Rosella[/name], to be honest. It does have a strange sort of sound and flow about it, but it also tends to have a certain prettiness about it. But still, the sound just kind of rubs me the wrong way.
There are (luckily!) a majority of fantastic ‘rose’ names out there, with [name]Rosella[/name] just being one of the many.
[name]Roselle[/name] does strike me as quite pretty as well, and I do agree that it’s much simpler. Maybe it’s because [name]Rosella[/name] just feels like slapping [name]Ella[/name] onto the end of [name]Rose[/name]–but then again, why doesn’t [name]Roselle[/name] feel like just slapping [name]Elle[/name] onto the end of [name]Rose[/name]? I’m not really sure, to be honest. xD But anyhow.
[name]Cecily[/name] “Cici” [name]Johanna[/name] is gorgeous, by the way! I really love both [name]Cecily[/name] and [name]Johanna[/name] (plus, Cici’s quite adorable) and they work together quite adorably. As for [name]Rosella[/name] [name]Lieselotte[/name], I’m not a huge fan; I agree that they sort of clash, and sound rather awkward paired together.
