Would [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Aline[/name_f] called [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] (or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Aline[/name_f]) work? Seems to be a convenient way to have the best of both worlds, especially if [name_f]Aline[/name_f] is pronounced with the ‘leen’ sound you want for [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f]. You could have [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Aline[/name_f] on the birth certificate (and use it for formal occasions), introduce her as [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Aline[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] amongst family and friends.
