[name_f]Niamh[/name_f] is my favorite for you, but I think [name_f]Iona[/name_f] and [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] also would work well.
I love [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] (my vote), [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f]. I also really like [name_u]Adair[/name_u] and [name_f]Iona[/name_f], but just not quite as much.
I don’t think you need to worry about [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] ‘ageing well’ there are plenty of women out in the world with that name and I’m confident they’re doing ok. I’m not a big believer in names ‘ageing badly/well’ anyway. There are so many adults in the world (especially the UK) named [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] that I’m now a firm believer that a name ages with the child. Most people who feel a name is ‘too cutesy’ or ‘won’t age well’ has just never met an adult with that name.
My favourites are [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_f]Iona[/name_f] and [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f]. I don’t think there’s any problem with [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] aging well. I also don’t mind [name_u]Adair[/name_u]. The only one I really dislike is [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], and it feels to me a quite different style of name to [name_f]Mairead[/name_f]. [name_f]Mairead[/name_f] is such a strong feminine, timeless, deep and thoughtful name, while [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] is fussy, frilly and kind of haughty, and right on trend now it seems.
I voted [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]. [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is just as classy as [name_f]Mairead[/name_f] [name_f]Kallista[/name_f] [name_f]Isolde[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] for you! There’s nothing childish about it, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I don’t see how it’s any different from other 2-syllable names ending in the -a sound, like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Cara[/name_f].
My other favourite is [name_f]Iona[/name_f], but I think the Irish [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] feels more like a sister for [name_f]Mairead[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] [name_f]Posy[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]?
My favourite name on it’s own is [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], however, I voted for [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] because I think it goes best with [name_f]Mairead[/name_f] stylistically.
I really like [name_u]Adair[/name_u] - it feels very international and stylish.
