Rowan?

[name]How[/name] many little girls do you know names [name]Rowan[/name]? [name]How[/name] many boys? [name]Do[/name] you think this name is becoming too popular?

I don’t know any children named [name]Rowan[/name]. I don’t think it is too popular.

I know 2 girls and 1 boy, but I know a lot of little kids and babies. I don’t think it’s overly popular, although I wouldn’t consider it rare either.

I know one little name, pronounced [name]Ro[/name]-Wan.

I know one girl and one boy, so it’s a pretty evenly unisex name, [name]IMO[/name]. It is becoming more popular, but I don’t know that it’s too popular yet.

I love [name]Rowan[/name]…but for girls only

I know a woman named [name]Rowan[/name]. I much prefer it on girls than boys!

I know 1 girl named [name]Rowan[/name]. However, I’ve read several books with female [name]Rowan[/name]'s and one of the X [name]Factor[/name] contestants had a daughter named [name]Rowan[/name].

A lot of people on here like it better on boys though, I think, but I love it for girls only. I love [name]Ronan[/name] and [name]Roan[/name] on boys.

I love it on both boys and girls - I know one of each named [name]Rowan[/name]. The girl is [name]Rowen[/name].

I know one little girl named [name]Rowan[/name] and love her name! Out of the latest crop of unisex names, it is one of my favs and I don’t see it becoming really popular like [name]Harper[/name]. I prefer [name]Rowan[/name] on a girl too. Good luck!

None for both genders, but I like [name]Rowan[/name] for a girl

I know 3 girl [name]Rowan[/name]'s (and know of 2 more) and not a single male [name]Rowan[/name], but they are all adorable! I can see the appeal for a boy but to me this is strictly a girl’s name. I do not think it is too popular. As I have mentioned before on other threads, boys names on girls is a major trend in my area and being a teacher I get to meet a lot of them.

After seeing it commonly used as a boys name and as a protagonist in a lot of books. I see it primarily as a boys name.

I know one little girl named [name]Rowan[/name], and no boys. I always thought of it as a boys name (it was actually on our short list for our first baby if she had been a boy), until I met a little girl [name]Rowan[/name] and it fits her perfectly (sister is [name]Tatum[/name]).

I know one little girl named [name]Rowan[/name] who is 8. She goes by [name]Roe[/name]. I also know 2 little boys named [name]Rowan[/name]. [name]One[/name] is 11 and the other is 3.

I love [name]Rowan[/name] but I’m undecided as to whether I prefer it on boys or girls, sorry, I’m no help!

I don’t know any little girls with the name [name]Rowan[/name], but I do know of a 30+ aged woman with the name. It’s one of my favorites and if we were having a little girl would be in my top 3. It’s definitely not too popular.

I don’t know of any, but I see it as a boy’s/unisex name

I say unisex, though [name]Rowena[/name] is feminine.

The only [name]Rowan[/name] I’ve ever met, or even heard of in real life, was my friend’s flatmate, and he’s male, though he is about 20. [name]Prior[/name] to that I still saw it as a more male name because of the actor [name]Rowan[/name] Atkinson. I think it’s one of those names that is truly unisex though and if a [name]Rowan[/name] came up on a class list I wouldn’t know whether to think they were a boy or a girl.
