[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! She’s actually a favourite of mine and if I’m ever blessed with another daughter that’ll be her name. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is elegant, romantic, enduring and has this old school Hollywood glamor feel. I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is beautiful.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is my second favourite. I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and all her variants which includes the ever so beautiful [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is sweet, delicate with a pretty European feel. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] reminds me of pastel pink colours, lace and sweet pretty bouquets.

[name_f]Roxane[/name_f] is my third favourite she’s sassy, glamorous and unexpected. [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] reminds me of red kitten heels, downtown jazz bars and twinkling city lights. I think [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] is cool but I think too cool for me.

Same order for me as @tori101 - the timeless and elegant Rose (that can carry through all ages) is easily in top spot by some margin; then Rosalie (very pretty and bucolic, but I’d likely shorten it to Rose and Rosie anyway); then Roxane (spunky and strong, but to me is a showbiz name - the song and movie Moulin Rouge haven’t helped there!).

You might also like Rosamund or Rosanna. :rose:

[name_f]Roxane[/name_f] is spiky and cool

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is simple and solid

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is light, bright and pretty (and my fave)

I love all of them- in order, my favorites are [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], then [name_f]Rose[/name_f], then [name_f]Roxane[/name_f]!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Roxane[/name_f]! It feels elegant and sparkly and cool. I would love to be named [name_f]Roxane[/name_f].

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is timelessly beautiful and a close runner-up for me.

I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f], it feels classic and familiar, and yet I’ve very rarely ever met a real life [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I guess it’s so often a typical middle/second half of a double-barrelled first. It feels sophisticated but soft and unassuming.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is overly frilly for me it sweetness in excess.

[name_f]Roxane[/name_f] I haven’t come across before. [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] is vintage 70s/80s to me…definitely ‘Roxy’ clubbing and live music and parties vibe. I used to love [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] when I was younger because of the meaning but the vibes and associations I have with [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] spoilt it a little for me…even though [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] has a slightly different vibe to me, [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] is like a high end version of [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] to me…it’s like beauty and fashion and a very put together vibe.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f]- Absolutely beautiful. It is classic and timeless. One of my favourite names.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]- Very pretty and elegant.

[name_f]Roxane[/name_f]- Not my cup of tea.

  1. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - love it

  2. [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] - I would love to meet a little [name_f]Roxane[/name_f]. It’s spunky and distinctive.

  3. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - there’s nothing wrong with it, but it feels a little flat and uninspired to me

All of them are great! [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] is my favorite because i love how strong and sassy it plus its very unexpected and cool. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would be my second pick, its been on my liat for ages and I get such lovely imagery of fancy tea parties and sprawling gardens. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a good name but im lueast excited about it out of the three, it just doesn’t have as much pizzazz for me which is what i usually gravitate towards but sometimes the clean, classic, simplicity is better.

The classic [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favourite, I just find it so beautiful. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is pretty but a bit jingly and cutesy for me personally. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] either the sound which I find harsh or the pop culture association (I’m thinking of the Police song - an unfortunate association for an innocent baby girl).

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is my favorite with rose as a nickname or [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be second favorite and a refreshing name vs as a middle name,

[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] I like but not a favorite . I see the appeal and the nickname roxy .

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is cute, but not one of my favorites. I think it’s kind of frilly/pink vibes.
I prefer [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] to [name_f]Roxane[/name_f], gives me the same vibes as @tori101

hope this helps!

Rose is my favorite. It’s like a LBD for names.
Rosalie I have never liked personally.
Roxane spunky, retro, The Police song (which I my be in the minority but I think is a good song and I wouldn’t let it deter me).

[spoiler]"Roxanne
You don’t have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don’t have to sell your body to the night

Roxanne
You don’t have to wear that dress tonight
Walk the streets for money
You don’t care if it’s wrong or if it’s right"[/spoiler]

ETA: the bluring isnt working and I dont know why.

Thank you for your feedback!

We are really undecided at the moment. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s favorite are [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f], my own are [name_f]Roxane[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with maybe a preference to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I have also other favorites such as [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] but he doesn’t like it as much.

We are an American/Belgian family (French speaking side) so we are looking for a name that fits both languages.
