Roxanne

[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Roxanne[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you think that it might be " trashy"? Does the song by the police ruin it in any way?

I don’t know the song, but I like the name. However I can see the trashy vibe you might be getting. I prefer [name]Roxana[/name], but [name]Roxanne[/name] is nice too. I really like the nickname [name]Roxy[/name], and there’s always [name]Ro[/name], [name]Ann[/name], [name]Annie[/name].

I think [name]Roxanne[/name] is a lovely name with lots of nice nns. [name]Will[/name] people sing the Police song to her-- yes-- but I don’t think that should stop you from using it!

I’m sorry, but I see the name and just can’t get the song out of my head!

The song kind of ruins it for me, but I love [name]Roxy[/name] and [name]Roxanna[/name]. So pretty. Maybe you would like [name]Axelle[/name]?
Or Rasia or [name]Raisa[/name]?
I know a [name]Roxanna[/name] and people still sing that song when they meet her!

I think its a really harsh, gritty sounding name and don’t find it attractive at all, I’m afraid.

I love it. Strong, fun, and graceful all at once. I know a [name]Roxane[/name] ([name]Roxy[/name].) She is extremely intelligent and outgoing and cheerful. She loves her name and it suits her. And yes, occasionally people tell her she doesn’t have to put on the red light.

I don’t like the name, and I do find it trashy (maybe it has to do with the people I associate to this name). For me the song does not really ruin it, it is people I have met with this name that do.

I hear Rocks and stop.

I adore the name [name]Roxanne[/name]!

[name]Roxanne[/name] is alright, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Roxana[/name]. I think the extra A softens it up a lot, and it can be quite harsh with that middle x.

I like [name]Roxanne[/name]. I also like the song by the Police . I can see where you may be afraid of that sounding “trashy” though. It’s too bad cause I like names like [name]Roxanne[/name] and [name]Destiny[/name], but our society seems to have these bad correlations with the names. But [name]Roxanna[/name], [name]Roxie[/name], and [name]Raquel[/name] (maybe [name]Roxie[/name] for short) might be better alternatives if you are afraid of it sounding too “trashy.”
