Ryan Carter or Andrew David?

The title pretty much covers it! I need a name for my baby boy, and I’m stuck between these two. So: [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]? (Our last name starts with a G, if that helps.) Also, what do you think each name would say about him? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you get a different “vibe” from each one?

Thanks for the help!

I prefer [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]! I picture a kind, hard-working boy and man. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] just sounds too perpetual little boy, to my ear.

I really like them both! [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is one of my favourites but for some reason [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] has such a great sound.

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is a classic name, and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] seems a little more modern to me. Both are very nice names, and you can’t go wrong with either. If it were up to me, I’d go with [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u].

I really like [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. It gives off a cool/strong vibe.

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is nice too, but I feel as if it’s already a popular name combo.

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] for sure! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is lovely and classic. I would love to meet a baby [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]!

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. So handsome, plus [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] can go by the nn [name_u]Drew[/name_u].

As above: [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is a name for ages 10-100, [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u], for 0-30. That said, there’s something friendly and trustworthy about both names. I’d probably pick [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. If you want to freshen it, [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Carter[/name_u]?

[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] is a little more ‘unexpected,’ but I like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] more. Nothing is wrong with either combo, but [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] gives off strong, sweet vibes, especially for 2018/2019.

I love [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. It is such a handsome, classic name. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], feels trendy to me even though it has consistent use since the 80s. My pick would be [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m], though I like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] as well.

Another vote for [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. So timeless and wearable. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] is OK, but the choice between the two is easy.

I only like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m], a lovely classic feeling name. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is very dated to me, and [name_u]Carter[/name_u] doesn’t appeal to me much.

Another vote for [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]!

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. It’s solid, strong, and classic. And I really like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]'s main nicknames, [name_u]Andy[/name_u] or [name_u]Drew[/name_u]. Both feel very warm and friendly. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] to me is dated, I grew up with many, and it lacks that classic feel to make it timeless.

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. I like both of those names. I don’t like [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] or [name_u]Carter[/name_u].
