My hubby and I are going to start trying for a baby in [name]August[/name] (wish us luck!!). We already have a 7 year old son named [name]Zachary[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]. The middle name will be [name]Kristopher[/name] after my brother. My married name and maiden name both start with an S so I am actually able to carry on a tradition of RKS initials, as my dad and brother have, if we are to have a boy. I simply am not a fan of their first name [name]Ronald[/name]. So I am trying to find something that both my hubby and I would like when the time comes!!! So my choices thus far are as follows:
[name]Rylan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] (favorite I think)
[name]Roland[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Ronan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] (which would actually have part of [name]Ronald[/name] in it)
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
[name]Ridley[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]
Thoughts? Suggestions? I have a ways to go but like to think about it!!!
I agree, [name]Ronan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] is great!
[name]Rylan[/name] - I like this one as well. You might like [name]Ryland[/name] as well, though I think [name]Rylan[/name] is more of an established name.
[name]Roland[/name] - probably my second favorite. I love this name, plus it has all the same letters of [name]Ronald[/name].
[name]Rowan[/name] - I dislike that this name is becoming unisex, but I do like it on a boy.
[name]Ridley[/name] - normally I’m a fan, but with [name]Zachary[/name] the endings are very similar.
[name]Ronan[/name] for sure. It is so handsome and [name]Ronan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] sounds great. I like that [name]Ronan[/name] is similar to your fathers name as well.
My second choice would be [name]Rowan[/name] but I have a fear that it is going to the girls.
[name]Rylan[/name] I think is a little feminine. I could picture some tryndee parents giving the name to their daughter.
I wasn’t too sure about the [name]Ronan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name] thing at first but this one is really growing on me. I love that it would be his own yet still incorporate the [name]Ron[/name] of [name]Ronald[/name]. I really love the [name]Riordan[/name] that Freckles suggested! Our last name is very [name]German[/name] though so I wonder if that would go well?
I think they’re all great, but my favorite is [name]Rowan[/name]. Although it’s also being used for girls, it is still more popular for boys (with the gender ratios for the past several years being similar).
You guys are awesome. I love being able to get some feedback! I really like [name]Rylan[/name] but [name]Ronan[/name] is really growing on me. I actually started saying [name]Ridley[/name] and [name]Zachary[/name] together and it does seem a bit much!! I think I am really leaning towards the following (in this order):
[name]Rylan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this name! modern yet not weird
[name]Roland[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]- ehhh… sounds like “rolling” to me
[name]Ronan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]- my husband likes this name. it’s too close to [name]Rowan[/name] for me, which i hate.
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]- aaaand here it is lol. im from south jersey and the main college there is [name]Rowan[/name] University. it just doesn’t sound like a baby name… it’s a school name! plus, it sounds like “rowing”
[name]Ridley[/name] [name]Kristopher[/name]- sounds like a bad guy in a Disney movie. i have no idea why i think that lol
I like [name]Rylan[/name]. it’s easy to pronouce, easy to spell, modern, and cool =]
