Sack

What do you think of the name SACK on it’s own? I can’t find it when I search and have only seen it as a nn for [name]Zachary[/name]. It is actually [name]Bradley[/name] [name]Cooper[/name]'s character’s name on the Wedding Crashers and his good looks might have swayed me a little bit too;) I tend to like short one syllable boys names ([name]CREW[/name], [name]TRIPP[/name], [name]FLYNN[/name], ETC)…do you think it’s usable?

Thanks berries!

just say no…lol Im not one to shy away from names that can potential cause teasing, but this one will definately cause some teasing, maybe thats why that guys character was such sweetheart (sarcasm!)

[name]Do[/name] love [name]Tripp[/name] and [name]Crew[/name] PS

I love [name]Tripp[/name] and [name]Flynn[/name] but I would steer clear of naming a boy Sack…way too much teasing to happened…

You cannot name your child Sack.

Nope. Why would you want to name your son after such an awful character? I mean, even [name]Bradley[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] has said that he based the character off of two jerky (to put it politely) guys he knew. Plus, Sack has some unfortunate teasing potential (think of a part of the male anatomy…). There are plenty of one-syllable boys names. [name]Flynn[/name] is really great.

My mind goes to the gutter when I see/hear the word Sack and I’m not the type of person who usually thinks that way. So my answer would be um no no no please don’t even put it on your B-list. I don’t think of it as a name as much as a word.

no! I don’t care for it at all. I like [name]Beck[/name] or [name]Ace[/name] to name a couple.

Please, don’t!

But if you REALLY love it, I could see it working as a nickname for [name]Isaac[/name] (not [name]Zachary[/name]).

I hope that this is a joke.

I’m sorry but Sack? That just seems ridiculous to me.

Sad sack? Not usable.

I try to be positive when it comes to names people might use for their children. I really think that you have been swayed by the actor’s looks. Here’s a list of Some of [name]Bradley[/name] [name]Cooper[/name]'s roles (not some of the best names):

Year Title Role
2001 Wet Hot American [name]Summer[/name] [name]Ben[/name]
2002 My [name]Little[/name] Eye [name]Travis[/name] [name]Patterson[/name]
2002 Carnival Knowledge [name]Jeff[/name]
2002 [name]Stella[/name] Short 1998-2001 Satan/[name]Guy[/name] at Yoga class
2005 Wedding Crashers [name]Zachary[/name] “Sack” [name]Lodge[/name]
2006 Failure to Launch Demo
2007 The Comebacks Cowboy
2008 Older Than [name]America[/name] [name]Luke[/name]
2008 The Rocker Trash Grice
2008 The [name]Midnight[/name] Meat Train [name]Leon[/name]
2008 Yes [name]Man[/name] [name]Peter[/name]
2009 He’s [name]Just[/name] Not That into You [name]Ben[/name] Gunders

Yeah, this would be terrible on a child.

Also, this was the [name]Bradley[/name] [name]Cooper[/name]'s NICKNAME on the movie. It wasn’t his real name, they were calling him Sack as a joke - short for ball sack (sorry for the language).

Sack? As in said child’s birth certificate will read “Sack”? This is why I think more countries need to implement naming laws. (or for those that already have them, be more watchful of what comes through) It’s almost as bad as this: 'Number 16 Bus Shelter', 'Violence' among kids registered names - NZ Herald

No, no, no. SO many bad things come to mind. I just think of a child named Bag. Or Scrotum. [name]Crew[/name], [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Tripp[/name]. All great names. Sack? Please don’t.

To follow-up, if you like the sound of the name, [name]Mack[/name] could be an alternative. Cute for a little boy and very masculine for an adult. I know it’s kind of a fall back nickname (Hey you, [name]Mack[/name]) but I know an adult [name]Mack[/name] who wears it just fine.

I think you should name your baby Nutsack instead. Sack on it’s own just sounds too short. Nutsack has that nice two syllable rhythm. [name]Just[/name] think of the great nick name potential: Nut, Nutty, Sack, or Sacks. If you want to be extra sophisticated you could name your baby Zamboni. That has THREE syllables!

[name]Balzac[/name] would make it REALLY klassy!

[name]Do[/name] yourself a favor and google SAC and see if you still want to call your kid that.

Exactly. Sack is not a nn of endearment.
