Our third darling has arrived! On the day I predicted but by very different means than expected (emergency c section).
Still it was delightful to greet Miss [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] on the same day as spring. Her older sister [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and older brother [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] (nn. So lo) are enthralled and awed by her. As am I and her father. What a special little girl (not least of all for the drama of her arrival and her daring brown hair in a sea of blonde siblings and cousins).
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] was so named, at my beloved sister’s suggestion. The name was a gentle hybrid of our hippie side (like our [name_u]Marley[/name_u]) and wisdom (like our [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]).
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] is to honor my mother, who shares that middle name.
Congratulations! [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is a gorgeous name and fits in nicely with siblings [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you are recovering well from C-section.
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is such a pretty name, and I love [name_f]Marie[/name_f] for a mn. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister’s mn is [name_f]Marie[/name_f] and I plan to honor her someday by using it for a mn. Enjoy your family!
