Same Letters, Different Names

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone, Im not exactly new to nameberry (i’ve been reading forums on here for about a year), but this is my first time posting. This is something that just crossed my mind. Im not sure if someone has already posted about it. I have no children, and am not wanting any for a while. This is all theoretical.

Can you use the same letter in your childrens names. For example, the names: [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], [name_f]Diana[/name_f], and [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. They all have the same letters, but are all different names.

I would love to hear everyones opinions.

I think you totally can! In your example the names are distinct enough that they don’t sound matchy, but have a very sweet connection. A cousin of mine is naming her baby [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and is obsessed with naming a second baby [name_m]Kaleb[/name_m].

I definitely think it can be too much though. [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] and [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is cute, [name_u]Alex[/name_u] & [name_m]Axel[/name_m], [name_u]Dane[/name_u] & [name_u]Dean[/name_u], etc. are a little much.

[name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] would be adorable together. I had always thought that [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and [name_f]Diana[/name_f] would be cute on sisters, but didn’t know if it would be to much. Also, I thought [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and [name_u]Aidan[/name_u] would be cute as twins.
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_m]Ramon[/name_m] would be cute, if they weren’t so matchy.

A little bit ago someone was contemplating twins (I think) the named [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f]. They make a cute set because they sound so different.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] are cute together

I googled Anagram Names and here are some that came up:
[name_f]Anika[/name_f] and [name_f]Kiana[/name_f]
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_m]Darwin[/name_m]
[name_u]Salem[/name_u] and [name_f]Selma[/name_f]
[name_f]Mora[/name_f] and [name_u]Roma[/name_u]
[name_f]Alyce[/name_f] and [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]
[name_u]Lake[/name_u] and [name_m]Kale[/name_m]
[name_f]Edna[/name_f] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Delanie[/name_f]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] and [name_f]Libra[/name_f]

My husband is [name_m]Jason[/name_m] and I always thought it would be fun to name a son [name_m]Jonas[/name_m] and a daughter [name_f]Sonja[/name_f] (but they were vetoed).

I wouldn’t do this myself, but it’s a fun idea. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Siri[/name_f]?

I actually quite like the idea!
[name_f]Ami[/name_f] and [name_f]Mia[/name_f]?
[name_m]Abe[/name_m] and [name_f]Bea[/name_f]?
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] and [name_f]Libra[/name_f]?
[name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Cilla[/name_f]?
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_u]Blaise[/name_u]?
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] & [name_u]Roan[/name_u]?
[name_f]Thelma[/name_f] & [name_m]Hamlet[/name_m]?

It’s hard to find ones that aren’t too match-y!

I love [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and [name_f]Diana[/name_f] together!

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Siri[/name_f] go perfectly together.
Also, [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] is a cool combo.
I love how, if done right, the connection is subtle.

Some more I’ve found:
[name_f]Daisey[/name_f] and [name_f]Saydie[/name_f] (although this spelling of [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], looks like say die)
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] and Bael
[name_f]Aster[/name_f] and [name_f]Tresa[/name_f]
[name_f]Callista[/name_f] and Castilla
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_m]Elmer[/name_m] and [name_u]Merle[/name_u]
[name_f]Maybell[/name_f] and [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
[name_f]Pilar[/name_f] and [name_f]April[/name_f]

These are fun to come up with.
