🌷 sandpiper's french class combos - statistics edition

these graphs represent how much people liked my french class combos when rated out of 10. there is also additional commentary based on what feedback was most common for each name. i took the rankings and feedback from this post that i made yesterday.

maudie wind

for maudie wind, it was often suggested that her middle name be longer. windchill and windmill were two of them that were suggested, and i briefly considered windmill for maudie originally!!

olivia quadrillion

many people responded that olivia quadrillion had too many l sounds, and a few people weren’t a fan of how common olivia is.

millie seraphine

millie seraphine, she’s probably the most useable combo of all of these, the only one with a particularly normal middle name. some feedback stated that seraphine felt boring compared to the rest of the middle names, however several people mentioned that it seems like a princessy, ballerina-like combo.

agatha sunflower

this is probably my favorite pick of the bunch, people described agatha as both clunky and witchy, however agatha seemed to either be loved, or hated. on the flip side, sunflower seemed to be liked by most people.

emma hyacinth

many people rated emma hyacinth highly, they loved how classic emma is and how unexpected and quirky hyacinth is. several berries mentioned how emma hyacinth would be a wonderful sister to agatha sunflower.

delphine clockwork

delphine clockwork was probably the most controversial combo, she had both the highest and the lowest ratings (10/10 and 1/10). many people weren’t sold on clockwork, but loved delphine. however, some people absolutely adored both names, and described her as mysterious, storybook-like, and old-world.

eleanor aquamarine

eleanor aquamarine was another favorite of mine, and she also had some high rankings amongst the berries, but it wasn’t unanimous. people described her as sleek, ethereal, but also a bit of a mouthful.
eleanor aquamarine

the average ratings for each name were as follows:
maudie wind - 6.8125
olivia quadrillion - 4.75
millie seraphine - 8.3125
agatha sunflower - 7.1875
emma hyacinth - 8.875
delphine clockwork - 6.9375
eleanor aquamarine - 8.0625

for a visual representation, here is a bar graph, the names are in exactly the same order.
average ratings
of the combos, olivia quadrillion was by far the least favorite, and emma hyacinth was the favorite.

from this data, you can average out the averages of the names to 7.276785714, or 72.77%. this shows that the average rating of these combos was 72.77%.

This is great [name_u]Pip[/name_u]
You need to do more of these–this is the best, most well-done, name-nerdy, (somewhat ridiculous) but amazing thing I’ve seen in a while. I want more of these combos, I’m kind of obsessed. :joy:
