What do you think of these names? Which do you prefer? What vibes do you get from them?
I’ve never heard of the name. [name_m]Sonder[/name_m] visually looks nicer, but maybe [name_m]Saunder[/name_m] would have less pronunciation issues? Reminds me of [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_m]Victor[/name_m], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], etc.
I don’t think I am a fan.
[name_m]Saunder[/name_m] is too close to Saunter and [name_m]Sonder[/name_m] just doesn’t sound good in my Aussie accent- so I can’t give it a fair go. That I tend not to like names like [name_f]Sonia[/name_f] etc.
They do have that travelling man feel to me.
[name_m]Saunder[/name_m] is surnamey and sort of relaxed and charming - a sort of quietly confident name
[name_m]Sonder[/name_m] is poetic and whimsical but I’m not sure I like the meaning/vibe as a name? It could grow on me maybe?
As far as I know, the two names have totally different origins, which is interesting since they sound so similar!
I love [name_m]Sonder[/name_m], personally! The meaning/imagery of the name is so cool
[name_m]Saunder[/name_m] seems halfway between [name_m]Saunders[/name_m] (the surname), Saunter and Sauna - not a fan.
I like the meaning of [name_m]Sonder[/name_m], although it’s a little wistful and perhaps sad. Seems more name-y and I like that it shortens to [name_u]Sonny[/name_u]!
