[name]Savannah[/name] [name]Jane[/name]? I think this has to be the last one I have thought of and considered, LOL! It has been recommended to me a few times… Pretty name (and hubby likes it), but I never felt it was on the classic side… wondering opinions. The sib set would be (there are other siblings, but the last three girls are each a year a part so will be closest) [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name], [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Savannah[/name] [name]Jane[/name]??? While I am not overly inspired by the meaning we did live in [name]Africa[/name] for two years, and the meaning reminds me of wonderful Safaris we had there Thoughts?? Thanks!
I don’t think it’s a very classical name. But the other names you have despite being older still seem modern as well. It’s great for a name to have a significant meaning. Sibsets aren’t that important to me, as long as the names arent to outrages and both parents like. Until nameberry I never really knew people aim for matching Sibsets well not as much as they do! Anyway, I like and I think it’s pretty
I also have a [name]Kelsey[/name]-[name]Rose[/name], and I would say her name is not a “classic” though we love her name, and it suits her to a T I guess I am not really aiming for “matching” sibs, but things that flow together, as you were saying… Our other children are:
[name]Maggie[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Kelsey[/name]-[name]Rose[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Levi[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name], [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Savannah[/name] is a pretty trendy name to me, but maybe it’s just my own experience with the name. I associate it with [name]Savannah[/name], [name]Georgia[/name]. I grew up close to there and knew tons of little girls named [name]Savannah[/name]. It’s nice that the name has some personal meaning for you, though. What do you think of [name]Susannah[/name]? I think it sounds a little more fresh.
. Well based on the names you have fit your other children, I think it will work fine, as you have a good range of names
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Joy[/name] has been on our list from the beginning It is just not hubby’s favorite, so as much as I love it, I am having a really hard time setteling on it, KWIM???
My definition of a classic name is one that has been in or near the top 100-200 since 1880. [name]Savannah[/name] has only been in the top 200 since 1985 and peaked in 2006 at #30. Therefore, it is a trendy and not a classic name.
I love [name]Savannah[/name], a lot more than [name]Susannah[/name]. If you and your husband both like it, it shouldn’t matter if it’s classic, trendy, whatever. It’s beautiful
I like [name]Savannah[/name] too. It isn’t a name that has been in use in my country, so I only associate with savannas and not with being trendy. I think it’s pretty:)
I believe [name]Susannah[/name] is much more of a classic than [name]Savannah[/name]. However, I do like [name]Savannah[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
[name]Susanna[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be more classic imo. I think that [name]Savannah[/name] has history & meaning behind it so in that sense it has a ‘classic’ edge over names like [name]Kyla[/name] or [name]Keely[/name] or whatever, but it is a name that was trendy awhile back so it feels kind of dated like [name]Kyla[/name] or [name]Keely[/name]…just my opinion though. If you love it go for it- it has a very pretty sound & flow. I would put [name]Savannah[/name] in the same category as [name]Dakota[/name].
Hii, my name is Syvannah [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] but my family calls me nanna:smiling_face: I’ve always gotten compliments on my name and so has the rest of my siblings, I have a little sister named Dykotah grace and a little brother named Bransyn [name_u]Clyde[/name_u]. I think it’s a wonderful name my only concern is how well it might suit your baby in the future, it can be a little young sounding
