Saw this and thought of you thread

@ethelmary I learned yesterday there is a classic opera with a character called Flosshilde – I don’t know much about the opera but the name reminded me of you!

[name_f]Every[/name_f] time I click open the page for [name_u]Marlow[/name_u] and see the “driftwood” meaning I think of @DriftingMaie

Ooh I may have to mull that one over! I quite like it :sweat_smile:

@ethelmary I was thinking about the Welsh name [name_f]Angharad[/name_f] and thought of you.

@DriftingMaie saw Adriatic after the Adriatic [name_u]Sea[/name_u] and made me think of you!

I immediately thought of a [name_u]Berry[/name_u] who had [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] [name_f]Angharad[/name_f] on their signature before the switch to Discourse, but I don’t remember whose signature it was on.

I’ve come across [name_m]Hesperos[/name_m] and I quite like it, but I’ve never seen [name_m]Hesperus[/name_m] before… I’m not sure which one I like best. I’ll think about it for a while :wink: Thank you!

@rosepip [name_f]Diantha[/name_f] (or [name_f]Dianthe[/name_f]?) sounds like it would fit in perfectly with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f] & [name_f]Hesper[/name_f].

it would, wouldn’t it! I have dianthe on my list already, and I love it :blush:

Very sweet. It fits perfectly with my list of names. The best part is the meaning which, after yesterday’s post, makes it all the more significant. In fact, I kept looking up glory and didn’t like the names… I never thought to look up glorious instead.

@oceansea I recently saw a type of flower that I thought would fit you perfectly. Searose is absolutely beautiful and when I saw your [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Wilderose[/name_f], it came to mind for you.

Oh my gosh that’s absolutely beautiful! Thankyou for sharing! Maybe [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] Searose instead of [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Wilderose[/name_f]? :thinking:

That was my first thought as well. Perfection!

@seawillow [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have [name_m]Orison[/name_m] on your list? I’m currently in love with it, but can’t use it :heart:

Ooh, I’d forgotten about [name_f]Tesni[/name_f]! She’s beautiful! Thank you for the reminder :heart:

It’s one of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] elaborate names I dislike. It’s pronunciation I dislike the most, it sounds like name that needed to be told with certain tone of your voice, and if you pronounce it too deep it sounds like you’re making noises, not words or names.

@lumosmaxima There’s this town in [name_u]Maine[/name_u] called Kittery. Maybe it’s just because of Kittiwake, but it feels very you
