I keep coming back to the name [name]Jagger[/name]. But it’s the kind of name I like more in my head but not as much when I say it out loud. My girls are [name]Hailey[/name] and [name]Dylan[/name], our last name shapiro. when I picture my lil boy I picture him a cool kid, like a lil rocker dude with spiked hair. but when I’ve asked my friends they cringe at jagger saying its an embarrassing name and a joke. Ugh. So what’s your thoughts?
I like jagger bryce…I don’t think you should worry at all about it. In a time where people are naming their children [name]Blue[/name], wanderer, midnight, and piker (yes I’ve seen all of these) [name]Jagger[/name] seems down right normal in comparison!
I know of a couple little Jaggers… it seems like it’s become popular enough to use without any real shock, but it may be a passing trend. What about [name]Bridger[/name], Langer, [name]Granger[/name], [name]Jago[/name], [name]Booker[/name], or [name]Walker[/name]? [name]Jagger[/name]'s kind of fun to say and definitely has a potential cool factor, but it just might not be as long-lasting as some similar names.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jagger[/name]! Is my number 1 boy name, but my husband does not agree. I say go with it. I have gotten more positive feedback than I have negative feedback when I have told others about my love of [name]Jagger[/name].
I sort of like [name]Jagger[/name], in a GPish way! It does sound very cool to me. I have a friend who named her youngest son J@gger She@ a couple months ago. I think it works for her, but when she was considering it, I have to admit I wasn’t very comfortable. All I could think of was the Maroon 5 song, lol, and I’m not sure that’s what I would want to think of when looking at my precious baby boy. It’s always seemed a bit silly and pretentious to me to use a high-profile celebrity’s LN as a child’s FN–so for me, [name]Jagger[/name], [name]Beckham[/name], etc. would all be out. When I just look at the name, though, I can’t help but think, “Oh, that’s kind of cool.” I don’t know if I could use it, though. But I think you need something fairly obviously masculine, since you used [name]Dylan[/name] for a girl. So I think [name]Jagger[/name] could fit the bill.
I like [name]Jagger[/name]. I do not think it is that weird at all. I would suggest a more common middle name to balance out the name. [name]Jagger[/name] [name]Lee[/name] or [name]Jagger[/name] ryan are nice.
[name]Jagger[/name] always gets the song stuck in my head “Move like [name]Jagger[/name]” so I wouldn’t use it just for that… Someone showed me this site and it’s awesome. It lists facts about the name and people with name provide feedback. So if you want to see potential for teasing and stuff you can check it out. I looked up [name]Jagger[/name] for you.
I find it strange when people say things like this, surely a legendary band like the Rolling Stones will still be remembered in 20 years right? I can name tons of musicians from different genres going back 50-75 years and so can a lot of other people (I think) so I don’t see why kids born in the near future would forget one or never hear of one that’s still alive.
I agree somewhat. I mean [name]Michael[/name] [name]Jackson[/name] wrote a song called Dirty [name]Diana[/name], he’s well remembered, but I only ever remember once having someone tell me there was a song after me… I was never teased for it. Given Dirty [name]Diana[/name] wasn’t as popular though as Thriller and probably not as popular as [name]Mick[/name] [name]Jagger[/name]… I know a girl named [name]Stacey[/name] who was constantly teased for [name]Stacey[/name]'s Mom… not sure if that song still popular. It really depends how popular the song is and how popular the artist is in your area…
