Scottish place names have a long history of use in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] and therefore make really authentic links to ancestory
Island names like [name_u]Skye[/name_u], [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] and [name_m]Harris[/name_m] continue to be popular and there are loads of underused possibilities- which are your favourites?
My personal favourites are [name_f]Sanda[/name_f] for boys and [name_f]Islay[/name_f] for girls
My favourites are [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f], [name_u]Skye[/name_u] and Ceallasaigh (which I think is like [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]?) for girls and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], [name_m]Arran[/name_m] and [name_m]Harris[/name_m] for boys.
I love [name_f]Islay[/name_f] and [name_f]Iona[/name_f] for a girl!
Others I think would make lovely names are Eorsa, Eriska, Hirta, Isay, [name_m]Jura[/name_m], Kerrera, Lismore, Oxna, [name_f]Shuna[/name_f], Switha, Torsa, and Vaila.
I think Orkney, Noss or even Shetland would make pretty cool boy names!
