Searching for a unique name for my puppy

Hello all!

I’m finally going to adopt a Japanese [name_m]Chin[/name_m]/Pekingnese/Shih Tzu mix puppy to be a companion to me and a sibling to my 14 year old Lhasa Apso x Poodle, [name_f]Mali[/name_f]. This is the first time I’m naming my own dog, so I want her name to be absolutely perfect. She’s tiny and white with cream colored ears. I’m trying to find a cute name that is unusual yet not over the top and ridiculous. I love vintage nicknames and names related to folklore and mythology. Three syllables or less preferably. Any and all suggestions are immensely appreciated!

Based on her colour, [name_f]Lumi[/name_f], which means snow, would suit her I think.

What a darling suggestion! I adore [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]! The meaning is simply lovely. Thank you for your contribution!

She sounds soooo cute! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :dog:

How about…

Bellatrix nn [name_f]Trixie[/name_f]…but not [name_f]Bella[/name_f]. Too many dogs are called [name_f]Bella[/name_f], even though I think it’s beautiful.

Daphne

Eve/Evie-There’s a lot of human children called [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but I think it’d be unique & an adorable on a little spunky pup.

Thank you for the perfect idea! I think it’s between [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] right now.

PomPom would be so cute on a furry little dog!
