Does the name [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flow well? Is it too long? [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is an important name to my husband and he really wants to use it. We have an older son and my husband wanted to use it with him as well (but we went with [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]). He didn’t get to use it that time so this time he does. I’m worried about the length, but A) we rarely say my sons full name and B) we do have a short 1 syllable 4 letter last name. Initials would be S.A.R. (I was concerned about our older son having the initials E.A.R.)
Both are great names and nice choice. Yes it may be a little long but in no way a deal breaker and I agree that we seldom say our full name. The reasons you love it always trump flow [name_f]IMO[/name_f], so I say go for it!
It’s long but handsome. Both names are well known, traditional choices so it doesn’t seem like as much of a mouthful as something of that length could. I also think it goes superbly with [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]!
I would use [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and drop [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] is a great, masculine choice. I don’t like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with him. Plus, it’s a really long name. I think [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] would be really cute.
It is long but I like long names. Both names are well known, there should not be anydifficulty with the pronunciation. Especially with a short last name.
Both are great names, and they happen to be personal favourites ofmine. Congratulations on your choice!
I think it is a terrific name. It is a little more elaborate than the brother name, but very compatible. Sibling match would not be my number one criteria in selecting a name, especially when there is an honor name involved. I say go for it! Both of your sons will have great names.
I like it! Yes, it is quite long but that’s balanced out by your last name. Also, [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] are lovely as brothers.
I love it. Our [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - just one syllable less but I love the flow of long names
