Second Guessing Bryce

Hello,
I am due to have my son or daughter in 4 weeks. My wife and I latched onto the boy’s name [name]Bryce[/name] early on. My last name is [name]Ross[/name] and my eldest son is named [name]Chase[/name]. We are no second guessing ourselves. A new name that has surfaced is [name]Cody[/name]. We would like more choices to test how strongly we feel about [name]Bryce[/name] and now, [name]Cody[/name]. Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

I think [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Ross[/name] is a bit of a mouthful, and [name]Chase[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] sound a bit too similar. [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name] is a very handsome name, and [name]Chase[/name] and [name]Cody[/name] are great together. I vote for [name]Cody[/name].

I like [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name] much more than [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Ross[/name]. I agree with mrstoon…[name]Chase[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] are too similar and [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Ross[/name] is definitely a mouthful.

My only drawback to [name]Cody[/name] is that there is a major league baseball player with the name [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t know if that would bug you.

Good luck!

I like [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name] too, it flows nicely.

I love [name]Cody[/name], but [name]Blade[/name] told me it was a lapse in taste and that it’s a hick name. :frowning: Meanie.
[name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name] is really cute.

I’m not a fan of the Br sound in general, and I dislike the two S-sounding endings in [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Ross[/name]. Too hissy. I [name]DO[/name] like that [name]Bryce[/name] makes me think of beautiful [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Canyon[/name].

[name]Blake[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Brett[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Flint[/name] [name]Ross[/name]

Thank you. The main reason holding us back is the baseball player named [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name], which makes us look unoriginal.

Please do include some other suggestions.

[name]Blake[/name] [name]Ross[/name] sounds nice.

I’m in a very similar position to you - I like a few one-syllable boys names such as [name]Bryce[/name] and [name]Blake[/name] - but also have a one-syllable surname!

I agree that [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Ross[/name] is a bit of a mouthful. But why not make it [name]Bryson[/name] [name]Ross[/name]? [name]Just[/name] to break it up a bit? He can then be shortened to [name]Bryce[/name]

Other suggestions, if you like the short and simple, could be…

[name]Flynn[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Coen[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Kurt[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Max[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Hugo[/name] [name]Ross[/name]
[name]Kael[/name] [name]Ross[/name]

If it helps, I had never heard of the baseball player named [name]Cody[/name] [name]Ross[/name] until just now, so he must not be THAT famous, right? If anyone asks, you can claim ignorance!

does it help with the mouthful problem by inserting [name]Alexander[/name] as his middle name? [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Ross[/name]?

Hands down [name]Bryce[/name].
