I’m normally a “nicknames don’t need full names” person, but these two are ones I would probably prefer to use a full name for. I could probably use [name_m]Jem[/name_m] alone, but I think [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] is a bit too polarising for me to want to use it as it is.
For [name_m]Jem[/name_m], I like [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] but not sure it really fits with my other names. It feels a bit like picking the full name just so I can have the nickname. I’ve also considered [name_m]James[/name_m] but it’s a close family name for me which means I don’t really want to use it
For [name_m]Lucky[/name_m], my main issue is that I don’t really like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] / [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] / [name_m]Luca[/name_m] (for me, anyway - love them for others). [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] is okay, but I’m not 100% on it. Nothing seems to give me the same feeling that [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] does!
I love a stretchy nickname so I’m open to any and all suggestions whether they’re obvious or not!
i think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] “Jem” is really sweet 
for [name_m]Lucky[/name_m], how about [name_m]Asher[/name_m], with the meaning, “fortunate, blessed happy one” [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] feels like the perfect nickname! 
maybe these are really bad suggestions but hopefully i can provide a bit of inspo!!

just thought you could do first and middle name pairings to get nicknames, too!
for example, [name_m]Leland[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], “Lucky”, and [name_m]Jude[/name_m] [name_m]Emmett[/name_m], “Jem”

I like Jem as a full! But also as a nickname for Jeremiah or James for sure.
Lucky I feel like could be a nickname for anything! It’s sort of like “skip” “bud” or “sonny” to me. Lachlan maybe if you want it to be close to the full name? Or Leonardo could be cool!!

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is already a favourite, and I love my [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Cedar[/name_m] combo so much.. using [name_m]Jem[/name_m] as a nn would probably push that to being my top name for a boy! I’d never considered [name_m]Jem[/name_m] for [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] before but it’s perfect. [name_m]Asher[/name_m] is another favourite and I hadn’t considered [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] before but you’re right, it’s a perfect nickname! I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] but I live near the city so I’m not sure I’d use it myself, it’s a great idea for [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] though!

I agree with you, I think [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] could work for anything, so in practice if I ever had a son they would likely be called [name_m]Lucky[/name_m] regardless. feels like a bit less pressure to find a more closely related name. I love [name_m]Louis[/name_m], actually, that’s a really good idea and thank you for coming back with more ideas!

For Lucky, I think just Lux with the nn Lucky would be super cute! Seconding Lucan, Lorcan, Lachlan, Lennox, and Ludovic as well!

oof depending on the context i wouldn’t do this haha. asher is essentially in similar value to judaism as messiah (as is cohen) and despite the fact that (that i am still obsessed with) you have jewish ancestry i wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to others without doing their full research on the topic, but absolutely love the idea in general!
but i’m gonna second felix! in the series “spirit riding free” lucky’s name was fortunata : )
