I think [name]Selena[/name] has become one of my new favs. My problem is my name is [name]Helen[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Selena[/name] and [name]Helen[/name] look too much alike I know they don’t sound the same at all but it’s the spelling I’m concerned with. I guess the other option would be [name]Selina[/name] but I’m not sure I like it as much. Our first DD is [name]Olivia[/name]. What do you guys think?

I don’t think it’s an issue at all. [name]LOVE[/name] your first DD’s name btw! And [name]Selena[/name] is fantastic. Not too close to your name. For sisters, yes. But not for a mother and daughter. [name]Selena[/name] is very pretty!
I don’t like the [name]Selina[/name] spelling, I’d go with the original, [name]Selena[/name].
I don’t think it matters if they look alike honestly… you’ll hardly write your name next to your daughter’s, if anything you’ll say it more often, like “[name]Hi[/name] i’m [name]Helen[/name] and this is my daughter, [name]Selena[/name]” which isn’t bad since they don’t sound the same at all.
I think its nice that they’re similar. kindve of a cute bond.
I agree that it doesn’t matter that they look similar, because they sound very different. [name]Selena[/name] is lovely and I much prefer it to the [name]Selina[/name] spelling.
