I think Selkie is sweet! I honestly think it works as a full name, since it’s so similar to something like Shelby, but I digress.
It could be a nickname for Seraphina, Serena, Serenity, Salome or Elka maybe?

I’m glowing at all the replies suggesting [name_f]Selkie[/name_f] works on it’s own! I thought maybe the connotations were too tragic, but I’m so glad to see it’s an appealing full name for most of you :white_heart: that definitely changes things for me

I love Selkie. Such a beautiful name— the legends and mythology are what makes me love Selkie the most though :slight_smile:

Perhaps Selka or Selke as a full name for Selkie? Though she can definitely work alone.
