[name]Hi[/name]…
I really love the name [name]Senna[/name] and mind you I am not pregnant…just love names.[name]Just[/name] curious to hear some feedback about it.would you use it? [name]Just[/name] hypothetically I love [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name]…[name]Aster[/name] [name]Lilliana[/name]…and. [name]Senna[/name] ( no middle yet)…maybe you could help me with this…
Thanks for the help!I would love your feedback and comments
Aslo I am aware that many people are not real crazy about the name [name]Rowan[/name] on a girl but it happens to be my most favorite name ever and would rename my daughter this in a second…if I could…lol
I know there’s some opinions that [name]Senna[/name] can’t be a name actually but who cares. It’s plant name though.
and I think it’s really cool name. My Korean friend’s real name is [name]Senna[/name], in Korean it’s 세나, and she said it is also unique and really beautiful name in Korea, too.
Can you explain why it can’t be a name?
[name]Senna[/name] is the last name of some famous and former Formula 1 race car drivers. So to me it sounds masculine.
Are you channeling Hunger Games here and trying to feminize [name]Cinna[/name]? Or just don’t care for the three syllables of [name]Sienna[/name]?
I like [name]Senna[/name] as a name.
To me it doesn’t matter about race car driver/hunger games. Because won’t have those connections once the child is older, there will be other drivers and books in fashions.
Besides i never knew about the race car driver, unless your a fan/follower you wouldn’t know.
Eh, I’d say a fair few older people would still know about the racing driver association, [name]Senna[/name] was one of the two biggest drivers of the late 80s/early 90s, and I’d say still among the most well-known of non-current drivers ever.
I digress. I think it could work as a name, though I reckon you’d get a lot of people read it as [name]Sienna[/name]/think it’s [name]Sienna[/name] but misspelled. If that would bother you, you might want to consider it as a middle where it wouldn’t get used as much.
[name]Hi[/name] again…its not [name]Sienna[/name]…which is ok but completly different…and its not [name]Cinna[/name] like from hunger games…[name]Senna[/name] is a plant and a legitamate name…I don’t. Watch nascar so that doesn’t affect me at all…
Any more ideas about a middle name?
Haha, Ayrton [name]Senna[/name] was a Formula [name]One[/name] driver, not a Nascar driver. I only know of him because there was recently a documentary about his life that was supposed to have been really good. I haven’t watched it, but I’ve had a few people strongly recommend it to me. I actually think he’s a bit of a cool association, though.
I really like [name]Senna[/name]. I see no reason why it couldn’t be usable.
While I don’t think [name]Senna[/name] is completely unusable, its use as a laxative aid is well known enough that I wouldn’t personally use it. There are too many other lovely and unusual plant names out there, plants whose claims to fame don’t involve BMs, that I really would look for something else.
I know a Wenna which is similar enough that I think it makes [name]Senna[/name] usable. As far as I know, Wenna has never gotten teased or criticized for her name. It’s a variation of her Chinese name. I don’t know about the plant, race car driver or laxative aid [name]Senna[/name].
This! [name]Senna[/name] is the second most commonly prescribed laxative. It does come from the plant of the same name.
I went to school with a boy named [name]Senna[/name]. I didn’t know about [name]Senna[/name] being a laxative until after I graduated. The [name]Senna[/name] I knew never got teased about it as far as I know.
I think it has a nice sound but my first thought when I saw [name]Senna[/name] was definitely “the laxative?”
I think it would sound nice with a longer girlier name similar to your other combos
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Georgianne[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Marigold[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Genvieve[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Luisa[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Magdalena[/name]
I like [name]Senna[/name] [name]Magdalena[/name] a lot
My parents originally wanted to call me [name]Senna[/name], but changed their minds due to the laxative association (I’m [name]Sienna[/name] instead). I imagine you would definitely have to be okay with explaining to people regularly that you are not a fan of Ayrton [name]Senna[/name] if you want to use it.
The word sena literally means army in Hindi and Bengali, and “to praise” in Arabic language. In Benin, [name]West[/name] [name]Africa[/name], the name [name]SENA[/name] means “bringing [name]Heaven[/name] to [name]Earth[/name]”. In Korean, the name [name]SENA[/name] is spelled 세나 (where 세 = SE and 나 = NA). In Korean, the name [name]SENA[/name] translates to “this generation’s or this world’s beauty or grace”. The corresponding Chinese characters are 世娜.
[name]Senna[/name] is usable.
I think the biggest point against using [name]Senna[/name] as a name is that Ayrton died in a horrific crash : / His nephew [name]Bruno[/name] now drives in F1 too.
I think [name]Senna[/name] is a pretty name. I had no idea about any of the associations listed by other posters.
