I am really liking this name but I would like to know What you think of it? Plus What middle name would you use for the fn Sequoia… are there any cool nn?
I think it absolutely works! Very pretty, natural, and unique. I’d prefer it on a girl, personally, as it sounds very feminine to me. But I think it could work on a boy, as it’s uncommon and not necessarily stapled to a gender.
Cool nn’s I can think of might be Seq (kind of like [name_m]Seb[/name_m] for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], I’m thinking?), Quoi (prn. like coy), [name_u]Koa[/name_u], and [name_u]Corey[/name_u].

I like it! I was close with one, though his parents spelled it with a Y instead of an I. Very cool name and always stood out in my mind in the sea of Tylers, Austins, etc that populate my hometown.
He mainly went by his full name but also [name_u]Coy[/name_u]. Pre-teen years he was called Saq/Sack…boys 
so there’s that.
I’d probably use a more grounded middle name such as [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], [name_u]Robert[/name_u], etc. but that’s just kind of how I like combos.
I love [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] for either gender.

So pretty! I know a [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u], but it’s a girl, and it won’t work for a boy in my opinion.
I know this thread is a year old but just here to say I have a now 8yo [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u] and everyone seems to love his name (*granted, we live in the [name_m]Pacific[/name_m] NW of the US).
