Not a mum yet, maybe in the future sometime… but [name]Seraphina[/name] keeps popping up on my radar as a cute girl’s name.
Thoughts? Nicknames would be hard, I don’t like the nickname [name]Sera[/name], sounds like [name]Sarah[/name].

I really like it. Only reason I wouldn’t use it is b/c it’s a starbaby name here in the US. But it’s beautiful. NN I can think of are [name]Sera[/name] and [name]Fina[/name]. I love it’s angelic quality.
I love it! I would probably use it as a middle name, but if I ever used it as a first, her nickname would most likely be [name]Finn[/name] or [name]Fina[/name]

I love it! I’m not a fan of [name]Sera[/name] either, or [name]Finn[/name]/Phin. But, I’d use [name]Era[/name] --> [name]Eri[/name] --> [name]Ari[/name]. I’ve also heard of [name]Nina[/name] as a nickname which I’d love to use.
[name]Seraphina[/name] is a gorgeous name, I absolutley adore it. I don’t think its massivly popular over here in [name]Ireland[/name] but for some reason even though it’s one of my favourites I don’t think I could use it as a first but love it as a middle. As for nicknames I really like [name]Era[/name] and Saffy but recently heard [name]Nina[/name] for a nickname for [name]Seraphina[/name] which I adore, it’s just darling.
I think it’s a very pretty name, but I don’t think I’d ever use it cause it’s too frilly and complex for me. But I certainly don’t hate it.
I like Phina the best as a nn actually.
To be honest, it’s really NMS at all, but it’s always fun to think up nicknames though. I think I like [name]Fina[/name] best, as far as potential nicknames go.
This is one that I flip-flop on. Sometimes I feel it falls in the “trying too hard” category (along with the likes of [name]Evangelina[/name], [name]Celestina[/name], [name]Christiana[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], etc.), others it seems like a perfectly lovely (albeit inescapably frilly) road to the “sara” sounding nickname. Though if you don’t like [name]Sera[/name], I can see Saffy being fun.
I love [name]Seraphina[/name], I was convinced for so long that this would be my daughters name. It’s not my favorite anymore but it’s still on my list. I think my taste has changed a bit, I prefer a lot of shorter first names’ now. I still think it’s beautiful though, I love the meaning behind the name also. I really like Sephy/Sephie and Saffy as nicknames. [name]Fina[/name] is cute too.
