[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there
how’s it going?,
My partner is Serbian/Bosnian …his mother is Bosnian and his father Serbian he is born in Bosnia. I am Australian. I just wanted some suggestions for names for girls if possible. I am especially after some less common names if you know of any! It would be great to name our children with some names which respect his wonderful culture.
Thank you very much!
Hey. Here are a few ideas for you to consider…
[name_f]Zora[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
Ksenija
[name_f]Anja[/name_f]
[name_f]Jasmina[/name_f]
Divna
[name_f]Violeta[/name_f]
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]
[name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Hana[/name_f]
[name_f]Sofija[/name_f]
[name_f]Amina[/name_f]
Sanja
[name_f]Mirna[/name_f]
Vesna
I would advise you avoid names with c letter in them. For any clarification, ask your partner difference between c, k and s letters.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there,
I’m part Serbian and having grown up in a Serbian community, I know a few.
If you want to have an easy name that can be said in both English and Serbian, there’s:
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Maja[/name_f] ([name_f]Maya[/name_f])
[name_f]Milena[/name_f]
[name_f]Ana[/name_f]
[name_f]Malina[/name_f]
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]
Dragana
[name_f]Sonya[/name_f]
[name_f]Katarina[/name_f]
Tijana
[name_f]Jana[/name_f]
[name_f]Teodora[/name_f]
[name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] (Serbian version of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f])
And there’s a lot more. If you want something a bit more traditional, there’s:
[name_f]Milica[/name_f]
Slobodanka
Ljiljana
Vukica
[name_f]Marija[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps a bit and congrats on your girl!
Thank You!
those names are all beautiful:D
