Our little girl was born on [name]January[/name] 17th 2013 at 11:03pm weighing 4lbs 15oz, 18in long. My wife’s original due date was [name]January[/name] 25th 2013, so she’s little early but very welcome!! [name]Helena[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] P. is finally here and doing pretty well, both Mommy and baby [name]Helena[/name] are still in the hospital resting up, baby was very jaundice but her vitals were in good shape, thankfully. Our other daughters were overjoyed and were in the waiting room until 9 when grandma took them home, waking up to a new baby sister was exciting! But [name]Angel[/name] wanted to make sure everyone here knew our little [name]Henna[/name] has arrived

Congrats! I love the name [name]Charlotte[/name]. She was definitely tiny for being only 8 days early. Were there any complications during pregnancy?
Unfortunatly, there were. We think she’ll be our last just due to the problems we had during and we dont want the next pregnancy to be even harder. [name]Angel[/name] had alot of trouble gaining weight and we couldnt figure out why. But we’re just glad both mommy and baby are fairly alright.
4 pounds? Wow, that’s really tiny for a baby that’s term. That’s preemie sized, I’m surprised they’re not more worried about it.
It’s symmetric but it is fairly profound IUGR (5th %ile for length, 3rd %ile for weight). It’s 2240 grams; and anything <2500g is quite concerning for a term baby.

Thank you and I’m not sure why they arent more concerned, she seems healthy she was just really small. I didnt gain much weight and she wasnt the most active in my tummy. Other than that we’re really not sure why, but im just glad she’s alright
