It’s been a while since I’ve last posted, and since then given birth
to beautiful baby boy named [name]Dashiell[/name]. I am already obsessing trying to come up with a future sibling name, specifically a daughter. Not pregnant yet. What do you think of [name]Saffron[/name]? I really love it, just wanted a reaction. I like [name]Shiloh[/name] too. Any other suggestions are great. I love vintage names like [name]Mabel[/name] too.
Thank you!!
I prefer [name]Saffron[/name], it is unique but still recognizable. I think it goes well with [name]Dashiell[/name]. I am not a fan of [name]Shiloh[/name], I think because the first time I [name]EVER[/name] heard it was for Brangalena’s daughter so I will forever associate it with them. But I think a child born now would not have to worry about that association. [name]Star[/name] babies seems to fade into obscurity after they are about 5 years old. So her peers wouldn’t know much about [name]Shiloh[/name] [name]Pitt[/name]-[name]Jolee[/name] (sp?).
[name]Saffron[/name]!! I love it. [name]Shiloh[/name] just reminds me of [name]Shiloh[/name] [name]Jolie[/name]-[name]Pitt[/name]. Plus it’s not even a real name; it’s a place, and also a battlefield! I don’t see any advantages to it. [name]Saffron[/name] is lovely, and I love the nickname Saffy. Other suggestions:
[name]Hi[/name]! I hope you’ve been well! Here’s another vote for [name]Saffron[/name]! I think it’s very pretty, not to mention unique without being too out there. I also think it’s great with [name]Dashiell[/name] (I love your son’s name!)
Vintage (and some classic) names you may like with [name]Dashiell[/name]:
I prefer [name]Saffron[/name] as it is spunky and quirky but recognizable. [name]Shiloh[/name] only brings to mind the [name]Jolie[/name]-Pitts. I actually prefer [name]Mabel[/name] over the two but [name]Saffron[/name] is still nice.
Some more suggestions (sorry for repeats. I wasn’t sure if you wanted nicknames so I included them anyway)

I don’t think [name]Saffron[/name] goes well with older brother [name]Dash[/name] because since [name]Saffron[/name] is a spice, together [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Saffron[/name] sound like “dash of saffron,” like you’re cooking something, not calling your kids!
When I lives In london I knew a [name]Saffron[/name] nn saffy also a very popular british tv charecter is named [name]Saffron[/name]. 2 years ago NO one was using [name]Jemima[/name], [name]Gemma[/name] or [name]Clementine[/name] in the USA even though they were/are common in the UK, but now us Berries are crazy about those names. [name]Just[/name] watch [name]Saffron[/name] will be the next berry favorite!
Thanks for all the replies re: these names:) I do [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Saffron[/name].
I never thought about [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Saffron[/name] sounding like a spicy/cooking family theme. That is something to think about. [name]Shiloh[/name] is definatly out, still love [name]Mabel[/name], and actually really love [name]Wilhelmina[/name] too. Does that fact that [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]Mabel[/name] have the same ending seem to matter? I’m a little leery. I love [name]Adelaide[/name] too, but worry that will become too popular. Thoughts?? Thanks again!
I have a [name]Dashiell[/name] too! I know you already said [name]Shiloh[/name] is out, but I was going to mention that it might be a tongue-twister with [name]Dashiell[/name]. I’ve never thought about [name]Saffron[/name] as a name, I think it will grow on me. I like that it’s very unusual with [name]Dashiell[/name], though. [name]Dash[/name] and Saff might be confusing, but that might not bother you!
I think [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]Mabel[/name] is adorable together! The same ending doesn’t bother me a bit in this situation.
[name]Adelaide[/name] is beautiful! That would be my pick, by far! I doubt it will get too popular, but [name]Addison[/name] is popular so [name]Addie[/name] will probably be heard on the playground a lot.
I can’t recommend [name]Shiloh[/name] because I just hate it. Reminds me of the kind of name one would give a horse. So, [name]Saffron[/name], I guess.
I’d forget both and go with [name]Mabel[/name] (or the older version, [name]Amabel[/name]). It sounds really cute with [name]Dashiell[/name]! [name]How[/name] about…
[name]Mabel[/name] [name]Saffronia[/name]?
Good luck!
