Short and Sweet

Looking for help namin our newest addition to the fam- our new doggie. He’s on the smaller side, super soft and a sandy-white color. I know there is a forum for dog names, but we love short (roughly 4 letters) names that tend to be used on humas, so I thought I would ask here too. For example:

[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Ollie[/name_u]
[name_m]Abe[/name_m]

Any more suggestions?

We already have a dog named [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], or bridge, but the names don’t have to go well together! Thanks in advance!

I have known several dogs named [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. I personally do not care for the name on a boy or man but I think it is very cute on a dog.

[name_u]Gus[/name_u] is a great name for a dog. [name_m]Just[/name_m] don’t pick something you might want to use for a future human. :slight_smile:

[name_u]Gus[/name_u] is great for a dog! DH used to have a dog named [name_m]Jake[/name_m], and I love that for a dog as well - so much so that I would use it for a dog before using it for a human :slight_smile: I also tend to like names inspired by tv-characters that would have too strong of an association for me to use for a human baby. (ie I love Sons of Anarchy but because of that association I couldn’t re-use [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] “[name_m]Jax[/name_m]” for my child but it would be perfect for a doggie!)

There’s a forum for pet names. But [name_m]Milo[/name_m] sprung to mind (even tho I love it for a human too).
