[name_m]Bram[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Carlo[/name_m]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_u]Marty[/name_u]
Vaugn [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Carlo[/name_m]

Nice lists!!

I love your middle name pairings for the boys!! Thank you!!

I need to narrow it more and stop obsessing over names lol. I find myself still thinking up name ideas - like how many kids am I having here?!! So I appreciate any help narrowing the list!

My favorites for a girl:
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]: Sweet, modern, cozy, and bright.
[name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f]: Ooh, I like this a lot! [name_f]Arla[/name_f] is strong and feminine, and I love the Italian beauty [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f].

Combos for a boy:
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_m]Carlo[/name_m]

Ameliese [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]: Ameliese will get misread and misheard as [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] constantly. (That sound change is where [name_f]Anabel[/name_f] came from–the original was [name_f]Amabel[/name_f]). I wouldn’t use it because of this.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]: I like it, but I’d use something less trendy as the middle to balance it out.
Avienne [name_u]Harley[/name_u]: I’ve never heard Avienne before and its pronunciation is not intuitive to me, so I don’t like it due to that.
[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f]: This is fine but it feels really Italian, which is cool if you are, but if your last name is Klostermann or McDonough or something it might seem kinda weird.
[name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f]: I like it! [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] is so underused, which is too bad.
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]: It’s okay, but I wouldn’t use it if your last name also has a bunch of r sounds.

[name_m]Bram[/name_m]: It’s fine.
[name_m]Fintan[/name_m]: I know this is a common Irish name, but I’ve never heard it used in the US (and like, I went to school with people named [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] and [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]), so to me it feels like a mix of a bunch of names. Also he would inevitably get called [name_u]Finn[/name_u], which is really popular when you add up all its variants.
[name_u]Corbin[/name_u]: I don’t like it, but it’s objectively fine and it fits into trends without being common.
[name_m]Bronson[/name_m]: All I can think of is [name_m]Branson[/name_m], [name_f]Missouri[/name_f]. But it fits into trends very strongly so it’s very usable. I just don’t like it.
[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]: Too surname-y for me.
Keat: Feels like it should be a nickname for something–it doesn’t feel like a real full name.
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]: Common country name nowadays. But I like it.
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]: [name_m]Uber[/name_m] common country name. I’m kinda over it, but it’s fine.
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]: Too surname-y for me. (Also it has at least three possible pronunciations and I don’t know which one you would use, so it’s hard for me to say more without knowing that, because I think some are better than others).
[name_m]Gerard[/name_m]: I like it! [name_m]Gerard[/name_m] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] would be very handsome.
[name_u]August[/name_u]: It’s nice but it’s kinda trendy.

Thanks for the honest, thorough feedback.

Some context to maybe help -

Amelise - derives from my grandma’s name - [name_f]Ama[/name_f]. I wanted to lengthen it and then I changed up the spelling to make it flow more. Because it’s kinda my own concoction and based on a family name its kinda my front runner but I realize people are gonna say Annaleise. Which is also lovely but not her actual name so I know she will have to correct people a lot, so I guess that is the down side. But I just think it’s so beautiful and meaningful.

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]- I was surprised when I realized that I love [name_u]Everly[/name_u] because trendy names aren’t really my style. I prefer [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] honestly but that’s our God daughter’s name and its completely off limits even as a middle name. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is very lovely even though I know its trendy. I just love it with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].

[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f]- I did want a name that sounded super Italian in the mix because my husband and I are both Italian. Last name isnt though. I dont think it sounds bad with our last name but I’m not too crazy about our last name if I’m being honest so I just have a hard time factoring that in! I actually wanted to make [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f] be Giuliette even though that isn’t culturally correct. I love the Italian spelling but the first and middle name both ending in a kinda bug me.

[name_f]Arla[/name_f] Raphaëlle- I just added this in. Very excited to get feedback on it

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - it’s my only non-A name for girls! I do love it. Never thought about the R thing - we have have one R in our last name. Also its supposed to be [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] not [name_u]Sierra[/name_u]. Not sure if my phone auto corrected that. I apologize!!

Boy names - I do kinda like surnames because boy names are hard!!! I feel so many boy names are super overused but I dont want anything totally out there either. I think my faves are [name_m]Bram[/name_m], [name_m]Fintan[/name_m] (I love that’s it uncommon but has a common nick name option) [name_u]Dean[/name_u] and [name_m]Gerard[/name_m]. I do like [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] because I like the country sound but they are on the fence because they are trendy.

But anyway thanks for the feedback- I am really trying to decide and it is hard!!!

Awe I forgot to explain Avienne [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. Its pronounced [name_f]Avy[/name_f]- en. It’s literally a combination of [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] because I love how I could take two vintagey names and make a new modern name. So many friends naming their kids [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] so I just wanted a fresh spin. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is kind of another trendy name but it sounds so good with our last name!!!

Avienne = avian. Not a bad association but might lead others to believe your vocabulary isn’t extensive. I like:

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f]
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_m]Gerard[/name_m] [name_m]Carlo[/name_m]

Avian as in relative to birds? I dont think it’s a bad thing since some birds are used as names - I actually have [name_u]Wren[/name_u] on the list!! But I never thought of that, thanks for pointing that out!!

Bumping cause I still need help!!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts:

Amelise [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]-Hm. This seems a little forced. I love the [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] part.

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]-[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is not my favorite, but I want to like it. It’s different, feminine yet strong.

Avienne [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]-A little odd.

[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f]-Meh…

[name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f]-[name_f]Aria[/name_f] is okay, but getting so trendy.

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] -It’s not my favorite, but it’s not bad.

My short list for baby boy:
*Middle name will be [name_m]Martin[/name_m]/[name_u]Marty[/name_u], [name_m]Albert[/name_m], [name_m]Carlo[/name_m] or [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] or a combination

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] -It’s okay, but better as a nn for [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] or [name_m]Abram[/name_m].

[name_m]Fintan[/name_m] -Whoa. I’ve hardly ever heard this name, but my sister in law and I were just talking about it this morning (she’s expecting number five , and has a crew of Gaelic named kids already.) . I like it! It’s a different ‘[name_u]Finn[/name_u]’ name.

[name_u]Corbin[/name_u] -It’s fine, but I don’t love it.

[name_u]Connelly[/name_u] -Different, but I prefer [name_m]Conall[/name_m].

[name_m]Bronson[/name_m] -Meh. Although I did meet a [name_m]Bronx[/name_m] recently, which I thought was adorable. Could be a cool nn.

[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] -Different, but kind of bleh.

Keat -This seems unfinished. I think [name_u]Keats[/name_u] is handsome.

[name_u]Dean[/name_u]-I want to like this. It has a cool cowboy feel, and is different and strong.

[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] -Kind of cute.

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]-I like this a lot. Another cool cowboy name, but maybe getting popular.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] -Not into this one for some reason.

[name_m]Gerard[/name_m] -It’s okay. For some reason I really like [name_m]Bernard[/name_m], which is similar.

[name_u]August[/name_u]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] it!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Thank you. Amelise derives from my grandma’s name [name_f]Ama[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] also!

Avienne may seem kind of odd, it’s [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] combined together. It sounds amazing with our last name.

Everyone loves [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] except the people who super hate [name_u]Everly[/name_u]!

It is [name_f]Arla[/name_f] - not [name_f]Aria[/name_f].

And [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - not [name_u]Sierra[/name_u].

I love all the feedback I’m getting on the boy names! Thank you all.

I really like the idea of incorporating [name_f]Ama[/name_f] into your daughter’s first name, but I do think Amelise will constantly be misheard as [name_f]Annelise[/name_f]. Have you considered any other names starting with [name_f]Ama[/name_f]? If not, what about…

[name_f]Amadea[/name_f]/[name_f]Amadia[/name_f] - reminds me a bit of another name on your list, [name_u]Adria[/name_u]!
[name_f]Amaia[/name_f]
[name_f]Amada[/name_f]
- love this one!
[name_f]Amanda[/name_f]
[name_f]Amara[/name_f]

[name_f]Amelda[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]

Otherwise, I think sentimental meaning behind Amelise is beautiful, and if that’s what you love, go for it:) Here are my thoughts on the rest of your names…

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] - I don’t love either name, so this combo doesn’t do much for me. However, it flows well and I think the two names complement each other nicely.

Avienne [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. I think it’s such a fun and stunning name. Avienne, though, is too similar to the word avian for my taste. I think [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] especially would be beautiful on it’s own.

[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f] - like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], neither name is my taste so I don’t have much to say for this one. I think I’m so used to seeing [name_f]Aria[/name_f] that [name_u]Adria[/name_u] looks a little awkard to me, and with [name_f]Julia[/name_f] being my name, most other variations of my name have always just sounded a little ‘off’ to me as well. With all that being said though, I love how strong and ferocious both names sound!

[name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] - not a huge fan of either name, although I really like them together.

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - though not something I would chose, I think [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is a beautiful name. Like [name_u]Adria[/name_u], I love how ferocious yet feminine it sounds! I’m on the fence about it paired with [name_u]Wren[/name_u] though…I think the sounds run into each other. What about [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] or [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]?

Overall, from your list, I would personally chose either Amelise [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. However, if you’re open to other ideas, I really like the idea of [name_f]Amada[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Amadea[/name_f]/[name_f]Amadia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], or [name_f]Amelda[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u].

Now to the boys…

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] - I really like this one, either on it’s own or as a nickname to [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. I think it’s the perfect blend of uniqueness, without being too ‘out there’.
[name_m]Fintan[/name_m] - I’d prefer [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] or just [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. [name_m]Fintan[/name_m] sounds a little awkward to me.
[name_u]Corbin[/name_u] - was never a fan of this one for some reason.
[name_u]Connelly[/name_u] - I’ve always prefered this one for girls. Maybe you’d like [name_m]Connor[/name_m]?
[name_m]Bronson[/name_m] - 50/50 about this one. I like it’s sophiscated sound, but on the other hand I feel like it’s get lost in the mix of all the many other -son ending boys names.
[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] - I’d prefer just [name_m]Von[/name_m]. I’ve always thought this to be a lot of letters to get to a one syllable name. Overall, though, I don’t mind this name.
Keat - not a fan of the sound of this one.
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - this sounds a little dated to me.
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] - I never thought much about [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] until a little while ago. It’s not something I would chose, but it’s definitely started growing on me! I love it’s soft sound.
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] - I’ve only ever heard ‘why it’.
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] - I don’t have a very strong opionion on this one. It’s a very nice name, but it just doesn’t stand out to me.
Gerad - this sounds very dated to me.
[name_u]August[/name_u] - this is probably my favorite from your boys list, even though I usually prefer [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]. I think [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] would sound wonderfully together!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps…best of luck!

Thank you so much for the thorough feedback!! This did help! [name_f]Amalyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Amalie[/name_f] were prior considerations before Amelise. With [name_f]Amalyn[/name_f] I couldn’t use [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. And [name_f]Amalie[/name_f] I worry will get mistaken for [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. I’d rather have her get mistaken for [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] versus [name_f]Emily[/name_f]! I’ll have to see if other [name_f]Ama[/name_f] names grow on me. I really love Amelise so much!!

For boys, I do like vintagey names not coming back into trendy style so I guess that is my taste. Or I like Irish names for some reason.

All the feedback is amazing. Thank you!!!

I favor [name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] for the girls and [name_m]Bram[/name_m]/[name_m]Abram[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] for the boys.

Thank you! I feel like [name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] is my bravest name! I guess that and Avienne. I love them if I’m bold enough to use

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] is my favorite boy name too!!

Amelise [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] - I like the sound of Amelise but I don’t like how it looks. I’d definitely prefer [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]/[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] but they do work well together as a combo.

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] - Although I love both names separately I feel as though this is a bit wordy. I think I’d like [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] more.

Avienne [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] - [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is sooo lovely I don’t like her being hidden away in the middle! Avienne is okay.

[name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Giulietta[/name_f] - [name_u]Adria[/name_u] is pretty and feminine, but I really don’t like this spelling of [name_f]Julietta[/name_f]. [name_u]Adria[/name_u] [name_f]Julietta[/name_f] would be so gorgeous whereas this feels clunky.

[name_f]Arla[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] - this isn’t for me, both names are just a bit of nothing in my opinion.

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - Gorgeous! [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is my #1 so obviously I adore her. I’ve never considered pairing her with [name_u]Wren[/name_u] though, but I like it a lot!

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] - I don’t like this, sorry. It feels a bit nothing.

[name_m]Fintan[/name_m] - I think I like this. I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] so that goes in it’s favour.

[name_u]Corbin[/name_u] - I’ve never been a fan, but now there’s too big a political connection here in the UK

[name_u]Connelly[/name_u] - I like this! [name_u]Connelly[/name_u] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is very handsome (although I’d love to see [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] as a first name!)

[name_m]Bronson[/name_m] - It’s okay, a bit too trendy for me though

[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] - It feels trendy and cool!

Keat - I’d like [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] a lot, but Keat by itself feels incomplete.

[name_u]Dean[/name_u] - quite simple, I Know lots of Deans

[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] - I prefer [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] on a girl, but I like it for a boy too.

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] - Again with preferring it on a girl or even as a surname. It’s handsome on a boy though.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] - I want to like this and it is my style but I have negative connections which just deters me.

[name_m]Gerard[/name_m] - too old-manish, imo.

[name_u]August[/name_u] - very handsome!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Adria[/name_u]. My daughter is [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], which is a little similar. I get a lot of positive feedback on it  we often call her Adria or Ada.
