Sibling for Chloe and Charlotte

[name]Hi[/name] everyone, this board was such a great resource when naming [name]Charlotte[/name], I am back for more!
We are expecting in [name]September[/name] and will not be finding out, very much on the green team!

Anyways, would you continue the “C” names for the third?

I never planned on having two C girls, let alone two CH girls. She just looked like [name]Charlotte[/name] when she arrived, I had my heart set on [name]Eleanora[/name].

I like regular names, older names, I guess on the popular side, not into trendy or last names as first names, nor do I like unisex names. Here are some names I like, but none of them come close to being The one… Please help!

Any suggestions?

Some names I Like
[name]Georgia[/name]
[name]Elianna[/name]
[name]Isla[/name] - have a neice [name]Lyla[/name] too close?
[name]Ava[/name] - too popular even more me, but I love it
[name]Liam[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]

If I was to continue with the C
[name]Cora[/name]/[name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Ciara[/name]
[name]Conner[/name]
[name]Callum[/name]

Continue CH
[name]Chelsea[/name]
[name]Christian[/name]

Although your daughters, [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], share a first initial, both names have a unique sound and style to them so I don’t find them too matchy at all ([name]Chloe[/name] is a mythological name - spunky, playful, quirky and begins with a “k” sound and [name]Charlotte[/name] is more classic, elegant and ladylike and begins with an “sh” sound). There are different scenarios in your situation.
(1) If this is your last child and a girl, then another distinct “C” name would be OK. I wouldn’t want your third daughter to feel like the odd girl out. But personally I wouldn’t go with another “CH” name (eg. [name]Chelsea[/name] on your list is too close to [name]Chloe[/name]). I think that would be overdoing it a bit. I would pick something with its own unique ending like [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Celeste[/name], [name]Camilla[/name], [name]Constance[/name] or [name]Cynthia[/name].
(2) If this is your last child and it’s a boy, I would pick another letter. I like the name [name]Christian[/name] but it shares the same sound as [name]Chloe[/name]. [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] on your list are great choices. [name]Lucas[/name] seems to be the natural brother for [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] (all have 2 syllables).
(3) If you are planning on having more children in the future and the baby is either gender, I would choose another initial. You wouldn’t want to box yourself in to a “C” name as it would limit your choices. I really like [name]Georgia[/name] with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]. If you like something longer, [name]Georgiana[/name] or [name]Georgina[/name] would be wonderful too!
Is [name]Eleanora[/name] off your list this time? [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Leonora[/name] would also work well with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]. All the best!

i think you should continue with the C names at least

[name]Chelsea[/name]
[name]Christian[/name]
[name]Christiana[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name]
[name]Clarissa[/name]
[name]Courtney[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Casandra[/name]
[name]Cassie[/name]
[name]Casey[/name]
[name]Connie[/name]
[name]Chleo[/name]
[name]Camilla[/name]
[name]Camille[/name]
[name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Celia[/name]
[name]Cecelia[/name]
[name]Celine[/name]
[name]Claudia[/name]
[name]Caitlyn[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Carolyn[/name]

I think you should just use your favorite name without worrying about patterns.

I like [name]Georgia[/name] the best with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name].

Good luck!

I would be tempted to use another C with a different sound if it isa girl, but I think you should use whatever name you love and fits the new baby regardless of pattern.

[name]Just[/name] in case  [name]Cecelia[/name] has a different beginning and ending sound than [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], still starts with C.

My favorites from your list: [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Lucas[/name].

Good luck!

Thanks for your input everyone

Right now I am leaning towards [name]Georgia[/name]… I really love [name]Isla[/name] but with a close neice as [name]Lyla[/name] I am not sure I can do it…

But I havent completly let go of another C girl…
[name]Callista[/name]
[name]Cerys[/name]/[name]Carys[/name] -
[name]Ciara[/name]
others?

As for a boy name…
I got nothing. All my favorites that we couldn’t use for [name]Charlotte[/name] dont’t feel as right anymore…

I like [name]Georgia[/name] too and for a boy [name]James[/name] [name]Harrison[/name].

hi, I like [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Georgia[/name] from your girls list (and if you love it, it doesn’t matter if it is similar. My sister-in-law has a [name]Chloe[/name] and her sister has a [name]Zoe[/name]!). I agree that if you want more than three kiddies, maybe it might get a bit much with the ‘c’ theme, but if you really love a c name best, go for it!) I like [name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] from your boy list. Best wishes

[name]Chloe[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] and… [name]Cecily[/name] popped into my head immediately!! Swoon! I think another ‘C’ would be great if you used a different ‘c’ or ‘ch’ sound, [name]Chelsea[/name] was a good suggestion. [name]Charity[/name]? [name]Cherry[/name]? Maybe a little ott! [name]Cindy[/name], [name]Cynthia[/name]? Sorry for any repeats! Btw, fwiw, [name]Eleanora[/name] goes very well with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], even though I would personally drop the ‘a’ in favour of [name]Eleanor[/name]. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I would go with [name]Chelsea[/name]. I [name]LOVE[/name] this name and I think it goes really well with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]. Also, even though they all start with CH, they all have different sounds. (Hard C, Sh, and Ch) [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Chelsea[/name] sounds perfect to me.

I would think about what your daughter would think. [name]Do[/name] you think she would feel left out? [name]Do[/name] you think she would like the individuality?

For a boy, I don’t think a theme would matter so much. I like [name]Lucas[/name] the best of your list. I also like [name]Christian[/name] and [name]Christopher[/name], for what it’s worth.

What about [name]Cornelia[/name]? This is one of my all time fave C names. NN [name]Neely[/name]?
If you stray from the C, [name]Georgia[/name] fits right in for me!
[name]James[/name] is my favorite boys name.

I like the [name]Chloe[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name] idea as it’s another C but with a whole different sound. [name]Celia[/name] of course works too.

Also love [name]Celeste[/name] or [name]Celestia[/name], [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Cora[/name], [name]Cressida[/name], [name]Callista[/name], [name]Christina[/name], [name]Clementine[/name] – C is definitely a good letter to be “stuck” on!

Some good C boy names: [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]Constantine[/name], [name]Cormac[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]Curran[/name].

It’s pretty amazing to me that I’m starting to encounter so many parents who are back at nameberry for round 2 – makes me feel like we’ve been here for a while!

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] are beautiful together. I wouldn’t go for another C name either way, personally. I like [name]Eleanor[/name] or [name]Penelope[/name] ([name]Nell[/name] is such an adorable nickname). I think a name with an L makes them sound like a sibset, but not super matchy. Other ideas:

[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Maisie[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
[name]Thea[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name] ([name]Hattie[/name])

For boys I think [name]Lucas[/name] is perfect with your names. The L ties everything together nicely.

I’d continue with the ‘C’ names. It would be a little odd not too, in my opinion.

[name]Cambria[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Cosette[/name]
[name]Carlotta[/name]
[name]Carmen[/name]
[name]Camille[/name]
[name]Camilla[/name]
[name]Carmina[/name]
[name]Calista[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Colette[/name]
[name]Coletta[/name]
[name]Carlin[/name]
[name]Candice[/name]
[name]Cassidy[/name]
[name]Catarina[/name]
[name]Corlissa[/name]
[name]Caitlin[/name]
[name]Chelsea[/name]
[name]Charity[/name]
[name]Catalina[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Caprice[/name]

We have 3 girls. [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Chelsea[/name], & [name]Chloe[/name]. It wasn’t planned and just sort of happened, but the names go together so nicely and everyone we meet loves it too.

Go with [name]Chelsea[/name]!

Exactly what I was going to say about [name]Chelsea[/name]!
