We are expecting girl number 3…and last bub! I like names that start with vowels (not sure why) and can’t have any names that end in ee' ey’ sounds as our surname is Plevey and they sound funny. My girls both have french names and quite traditional (although not common) but with more modern middle names ([name]Eloise[/name] Saria and [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Zo[/name]). I am in desperate need of some ideas! I like [name]Isla[/name] and [name]Aurelie[/name] but both came back a resounding NO from hubby. [name]Aurelie[/name] because he hears it and hears Orally which could cause some torment in later life. I see this now being in Australia and the crude nature although still think it’s a beautiful name. HELP PLEASE!!!
[name]Ah[/name], a provocative puzzle with a lot of potentially great solutions! I’m going to narrow the field by saying no A or E names, no L or D as a second letter, and three syllables. Some ideas:
[name]India[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Oceana[/name]
[name]Octavia[/name] (ok, 4)
[name]Ophelia[/name]
[name]Oriana[/name] (4 again – [name]Oriane[/name]?)
[name]Ottilie[/name] (may have same problem as [name]Aurelie[/name])
[name]Onora[/name]
[name]Ursula[/name]
[name]India[/name] and [name]Imogen[/name] are my favorites! I also love [name]Olympia[/name], if we want to expand to L in second place and 4 syllables…
I know this is an old thread, but I was Googling “Sibling for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]” and this came up. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s been so long, I was wondering what you ended up calling your third daughter? We have an [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and are expecting our second. Funnily enough, we are considering [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] for DD2’s name!
