A family member is pregnant with her third little one, she already has [name_m]Kevin[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. If this baby is a boy he will be [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]. All these names are (fairly close to immediate) family names and so they have extra meaning to them.
For a girl the names have had to stretch out to more distant family names. The front runner at this point is [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] was however picked before it was even discovered that there was a great aunt with this name. [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] is a variation of the family name [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] which the mum is not a huge fan of and we live near an undesirable suburb called [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], she and I both like [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] but it seems to get negative reactions from people.
The mum also loves some other names like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and many Gaelic names such as Naimh and [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] but these aren’t family names.
What do you think of [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f]? She will normally be called [name_f]Gwen[/name_f].
Does [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]/[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] work with [name_m]Kevin[/name_m] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]?
Should she stick with all family names even though she loves some other names?
