[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
So first I have to say that I am not pregnant yet, but we’re trying. We already have a son and a daughter, called [name_m]Louie[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and [name_f]Elenor[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. Since my daughter was born I have been thinking of what we’ll be naming our third child but I just can’t find any name I like.
I always knew that I would call my chiildren [name_m]Louie[/name_m] and [name_f]Elenor[/name_f] due to them beig my favourite names since I was a teenager – thankfully DH loved them too. But now it seems very difficult to find a fitting name for [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Number 3.
The thing is part of our family is [name_m]German[/name_m], so we need a name that our whole family can pronounce properly. Also our last name starts with ‘a’, therefore a name that’s not ending with an ‘a’ would be perfect.
I kind of like [name_m]French[/name_m] names or names with a [name_m]French[/name_m] sound to them, but I don’t need to stick with that.
We are in no rush since we aren’t expecting yet, but we’d really appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance xx A
[name_m]Louie[/name_m] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are such classic names, I can’t help but think their sibling needs a classic name, too. My picks:

Thank you so much for your quick reply!
I really love a lot of your suggested names but unfortunately I went through it with DH and only a few of those are pronounceable for our [name_m]German[/name_m] family.
So far we like
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (which would probably be too similar to [name_m]Louie[/name_m])
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
But nothing really clicked yet ._.

Does anyone have any middle name suggestions? Maybe we’ll fall in love if we have combinations. I thought about [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] as a middle name for our son, since it would go well with [name_m]Louie[/name_m]'s middle name [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] …
[name_u]Love[/name_u] xx
I just wanted to say my brother’s name is [name_m]Louie[/name_m] and my name is [name_f]Fay[/name_f] I have no idea how that works in [name_m]German[/name_m] though.
It works in [name_m]German[/name_m] just fine and I do like the sound of the name but I am more concerned that [name_f]Fay[/name_f] might be too short in combination with [name_m]Louie[/name_m] and [name_f]Elenor[/name_f]. Also I am not too fond of one syllable names because it always feels like a nickname to me
Also I just recently stumbled across the Name [name_u]Lennox[/name_u], but I don’t know if it fits well with my children or if there would be a Problem with both of my sons starting with L … any opinions?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] xx
My first thought was [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I think it sounds lovely with your children’s names.
I don’t think there’s a problem if 2 kids start with L. [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] seems like a modern names though, while your other kids are more traditional names. What about [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u], [name_m]Leopold[/name_m], [name_m]Leander[/name_m], [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f]?
Hey, sorry for the belated answer!
I do love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but my [name_m]German[/name_m] family wouldn’t pronounce it in a beautiful way and the [name_m]German[/name_m] version [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is much too common for me (I know at least 2 [name_f]Julia[/name_f]'s in every age group)
In terms of names starting with “L” I like:
[name_m]Leopold[/name_m] and [name_m]Leander[/name_m] (but for both of them I would choose the nickname [name_m]Leo[/name_m] which is maybe too close to my son’s nickname [name_u]Lou[/name_u]?)
For girls I like
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] - I do like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] too but the [name_m]German[/name_m] pronunciation is just all over the place and very … well I don’t really like it … I think [name_f]Livia[/name_f] would be a good alternative? But that’s kind of too modern.
So L names are possible … what about names starting with E?
Most of the names I like start with [name_f]El[/name_f] like [name_f]Elenor[/name_f] and that is way too similar. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] / [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is too common …
Does anyone have suggestions?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] xx
